Subpar

Convenient for an overnight flight delay but the room was not clean (hair and filth on the floor and in the shower), we didn’t have any towels, someone’s old toothbrush was left in our shower. The restaurant was really pricey and mediocre at best but given there is nothing else nearby, it’s easy to take advantage of people traveling in this way.

The building itself was kind of old, but the outstanding staff more than made up for it. Every person went out of their way to make my stay easy and enjoyable. The lounge chairs by the pool need some work, but the onsite restaurant had a nice breeze and great view of the ocean. Convenience to airport and excellent service make this place worth it.

Curacao becoming a Capitalism Paradise ...

On the webpage of hotel, they offer transportation from the airport terminal to the hotel. It is not true. It does not work. It is a 8 mins walk but with suitcases it is not comfortable. At the last minute, hotel call a taxi for us, but the driver (woman) charged us 40 US$ for a ride of less than 3 minutes for two persons. I think it is an abuse. They should eliminate the offering of transportation from the website.

I had a layover for 1 night. I needed a bed, dinner and breakfast and a shuttle from and to the Airport. It’s 2 stories no elevator, but staff was excellent and helped me up stairs and back down in morning with luggage. There is also a lockup on main floor for luggage. The Runway restaurant and bar only serves bottled water no tap water, there is 10 percent service charge for seating the prices were lower than ABC islands Bonaire, i had a steak and I got what I asked for!! This is only food option that I was aware of. I never went into the casino. Cabs from airport $20-$25, $10 if you get the Shuttle. Or walk along the road 10 minutes. When I come back next year my first 4 days will be at this hotel!!
