Staff was great and friendly. Front desk was very accommodating. The room was as pictured. Room was OK, for the price you can’t beat it. I’m on a budget and it was good enough for me. I would stay here again.

I've been in better Motel 6's.
This hotel deceived me into believing that all of the rooms and bathrooms were renovated like on the website. The rooms were renovated but smelled like cigarette smoke even though it was supposed to be a smoke free environment. The bath tub had old tiles that had at least 10 years of mildew on them. The toilet seat had a permanent stain on it. My 12 years was afraid to use it. Last but not least there was a cheap attempt to fill in a rat hole behind the toilet. I requested a refund before we settled in but the front desk told me to take it up with Hotels.com. Hotels.com attempted to negotiate a refund on my behalf but told me Heritage Inn Express would move me to another room with a better bathroom. Instead I went to the front office only to be told that all of the rooms had been booked up. At that point I just returned the room keys, threw up my hands, and said forget it and that they could keep the money. We left for better accommodations elsewhere. So unless you want to stay in an establishment that gives off Motel 6 vibes I recommend not staying here ever because that's as good as it will ever get unless new ownership operates with real integrity. I'm posting the deceitful photos on the website versus what we got from room 227! If you don't believe me then just request the room and see for yourselves. All that I ask is that you take pictures from your own phones and post them here, yelp, and any other website that asks for ratings because this is ridiculous
