We did not enjoy our stay, although Folsom is a nice town
My experience was bad. First night, no cold air coming into one room. Manager sent AC guy next day, opened pipes in attic, increased flow.
Next day, one of smoke alarms upstairs was beeping, it stopped when handyman replaced battery. That night, 2nd smoke alarm beeping next room. No battery inside,not sure why. Handyman put in battery, and even gave us couple extra just in case.
But that night first smoke alarm beeping again, and mgr refused to send another person. I replaced battery myself. Kept beeping. It ruined our sleep.
Also, there was trash from 2 or 3 weeks in side of house. Two large trashbins were overfilled. At least 10 plastic bags of trash next to them, to which we added our bags.
We were told someone would put the trashbins outside but no one came. Mgr claimed emergency, but there was obviously much more than 1 week of garbage there.
Also dead cockroach and spider when we arrived. ? just sprayed. But day 3 another cockroach.
We usually don’t give negative reviews. But mgr refused to take care of smoke alarm.
Mgr sent us text they would give partial credit for inconvenience. But then they changed their mind, saying that they had already given us a discount for the last night, even though it was pre-negotiated before we signed agreement.
With the high prices charged for this property, I would expect better service. With all the inconvenience and sleepless night that they caused us, I wish we had booked another place.
