Poor communication as to the place being canceled on us at the last second ruining our whole weekend stay. I had to reach out, just to find out it was being canceled due to a water leakage the owner knew that morning already.

Unacceptable

I gave all one stars because I did not appreciate my experience. On the day I was supposed to check in, I was told a few hours before my check in time that my reservation was cancelled due to plumbing issues and a leaky roof. The property should have been checked/inspected beforehand, not the day of my check in. I should have been notified beforehand, not the day of my check in. To be told in such short notice by the host is unacceptable and it was so inconvenient having to make last minute arrangements due to my reservation being cancelled. I wanted to share this because I don’t want anyone else to experience this. If your property isn’t in good condition, then don’t list it online to begin with.
