Sweet Dreams in Sacramento
-2 Bedrooms -1 Bathroom -Living Room -Spacious Kitchen -Dining Room -Free Parking This house is very warm and charming. The town of Sacramento is a small sleepy town with a civil war history. The Battle Of Sacramento was reenacted here for many years seeing the town grow from aprox. 300 people to well over 3,000 people of that weekend. The southern feel of this town is so relaxing we know you will have "Sweet Dreams".
This was our 2nd time staying here. Michael is terrific to deal with and the house is very clean. It was perfect for our stay while visiting family...and it's great to be able to travel with our fur baby. Even if you don't have pets, it's a great house. There was no sign of pet hair or smell anywhere.
The owner was nice enough to allow us to check in early due to us visiting the area for the death of a loved one. We checked in and pretty much left immediately to attend to some family things. Returned later and messaged him to see where the iron was and never heard back. So I started calling on the next morning and the calls to his cell phone would never go through from any phone I used. The house has holes in the living room ceiling, some have been covered by white duct tape and some have not, in the dining room there was a glue trap with rodent fur in it, dirty food trash under couches in full view in living room, the bathtub caulking had mold and dirt cakes in it. We didnât use the shower instead we to a family members home for that. The bed we slept in had busted supports underneath it as well as shingles and concrete blocks under, the mattress topper was stained with brain and blue stains. Pillow cases on the other bed were filthy stained. The dining room light flickered whenever it was in so we kept it off for safety. The light by the back door outside is hanging off the house by a wire. The kitchen counter has lots of peeling paint and nasty crumbs left everywhere. The only reason we remained at the property was bc there wasnât anywhere else to rent within an hour of where we needed to be for the funeral. We checked every hotel and rental around, there was no where and we had to have somewhere to stay for grandmas funeral. We checked out a day early bc it was bad.
I stayed at this property with my son, my mother and our dog while visiting family. The house was very clean and well stocked. The check-in/out process was simple. It was in a quiet area, even during the 4th of July. Mike was great to work with and very responsive to any questions.
