The hotel reception staff is kind and helpful. The room needs a facelift. Beds and bathroom especially. Upon entering it smelled old, but after airing out the room it got better. The toilet smelled like urine although it appeared clean. The pool and playground for kids were great. We spent a lot of time there. The location is phenomenal and quiet. We enjoyed long walks in nature and explored thoroughly. Breakfast was scrumptious. Dinner was ok. What I mean is it all tasted fine, but it was nothing spectacular that I’d remember. The dinner staff seemed to be displeased about their tips. I overheard them complain to each other. Also some staff spoke limited German which was a bit odd.

Relaxing countryside stay

Great stay with family at this hotel in the countryside. Room was nice and clean, bed a bit too hard for my taste. Breakfast was good with everything you can expect. Buffet dinner was average buffet style. Friendly helpfull staff and premises very clean. Swimming pool and play land in different building, very popular with the kids. Nice area with possibility of bike and horseback riding. Supply shopping in nearby village 5 min by car for those with self cater apartments.

Wirklich schön gelegen. Hier und da schon n bisschen Lack ab, aber dafür passt der Preis. Schwimmbad voll schön und Kinder haben ihre Freude dort. Werden zu den nächsten Störtebecker Festspielen auch wieder dort schlafen.

Der Aufenthalt war sehr schön.Zu bemängeln habe ich aber ,daß das Hotel mit email nur in engl.Sprache sich gemeldet hat. Außerdem hatten wir Hotelzimmer gebucht aber wir hatten dann eine Apartment.Ohne vorheriger Absprache.Dies ist eigentlich nicht schlimm aber dadurch hatten wir ein viel längeren Weg zum Frühstück.ca.500m

Viele Möglichkeiten vor Ort für Kinder, aber auch für Erwachsene ( Sauna, Wellness. Essen ist gut gewesen. Service und Personal sehr freundlich. Preise sind in Ordnung. Minigolf ist schon etwas heruntgekommen, müsste Mal erneuert werden. Parkplatz etwas zu teuer (8 Euro pro Nacht) für einen ungesicherten Parkplatz. Hatten kleines Appartement für 2 Personen,war aber gut ausgestattet,mit Miniküche, Staubsauger und Wäscheständer..... Außer im Bad da bröckelte der Putz über der Badewanne von der Wand,das war nicht so toll. Alles in allen aber, war es ein schöner Aufenthalt.

Das Hotel wird nur runtergewirtschaftet

Erster Punkt Abzug für das nicht vorhandene Bad im Zimmer. Es gibt eine winzige Nasszelle mit Toilette und dusche. Das Waschbecken befindet sich direkt im Zimmer. D.h. wenn man zu zweit ist und der eine sich im "Bad" die Zähne putzt oder die Haare föhnt, hat der andere immer den Krach im Ohr. Finde ich nicht entspannend. Die Abendbrot zeiten waren immer genau vorgegeben. Wenn man sie ändern wollte wurde es im Papierkram übersehen. D.h. wenn man von einen Ausflug vielleicht etwas später kam als gedacht, wurde es gleich stressig die Essenszeit noch zu erreichen. Oder ist man früher zurück und hungrig, durfte man noch nicht essen gehen. Definitiv nicht entspannend im Urlaub. Und ansonsten wirtschaftet der Betreiber meiner Meinung nach das Hotel nur noch runter. Repariert wird nichts oder ersetzt wird nichts. Und der Betreiber maximiert Gewinne durch Billiglohnkräfte aus aller Herren Länder. Ich bezweifle, das diese überhaupt beim Hotel direkt angestellt sind und hier bei uns durch Subunternehmen diese unterhalb des Mindestlohns angestellt sind. Spührbar dadurch das ein Extrawunsch nach Eiswürfeln im Saft weder auf deutsch noch auf englisch verstanden wurde. Das team war auch aufgrund der Sprachen nicht Teamfähig. Wenn die Tassen und Gläser aus waren und man das Service Personal darauf aufmerksam machte, wurde sich umgedrecht das Personal in der Küche angebrüllt und sich dann wieder lächelnd zu mir umgedreht. Ein Moment des Frendschämen. Also meins ist das nicht!

Wir buchten mit Halbpension. Das Essen war sehr gut. Für jeden Geschmack war etwas dabei und reichlich. Wirklich lecker!! Leider waren die Matratzen nicht mehr wie neu. In der Dusche war kein Schimmel aber viele Kalkablagerungen. Ansonsten war das Hotel sauber und aufgeräumt. Die Angestellten waren sehr freundlich und nett.

Leider hat uns vieles Enttäuscht. Personal weiß anscheinend kaum was sache ist . Wollten das wir das Zimmer nochmals bezahlen obwohl das bereits geschehen ist . Getränke abends ( trotz Halbpension ) nur gegen Geld und das ist happig wen man bedenkt das man pro person bereits 30 euro gezahlt hatte .

Die Betten sind gut, aber die Kopfkissen sind unbequem und unförmig. Die Ecken hinter den Türen dürften öfter gereinigt werden. Der Service bzgl. der Handtücher und Badematten ist gut. Der Service rund ums Essen ist gut. Die Buffet-Auswahl ist gut, aber es kann mehr für Vegetarier angeboten werden.

Wir waren nur eine Nacht im Hotel. Gut gefallen hat uns, dass für eins der beiden gebuchten Zimmer ein früherer Check-in möglichwsr und kurzfristig noch ein Hund dazu gebucht werden konnte. Das Personal am Empfang war sehr freundlich. Das Frühstück war sehr gut (große Auswahl an frischem Obst, verschiedene Eierspeisen, Käse, Wurst). Im Reisepreis ist der Eintritt ins hauseigene Erlebnisbad inkludiert. Wir konnten es nicht nutzen bedingt durch den kurzen Aufenthalt. Aber für Familienurlaub perfekt geeignet. Generell haben wir das Hotel als sehr kinderfreundlich empfunden. Es gibt ausreichend Parkplätze, den Preis von 8€ pro Nacht empfinden wir als moderat. Ein großes Manko ist die Sauberkeit. Überall schmutzige Fenster und Böden. Im Zimmer war der Boden nicht gereinigt. Überall lagen Krümel und Sandkörner. Die Zimmer wirkten abgewohnt.
