Ideal for self catering families

La Vallon is on the outskirts of St Francois towards La Moule. It is a little out of the way, but is excellent for self catering families. There is no communal guest area or bar. The swimming pool is of a good size and overall the grounds are well kept. Reception is only open a couple of times a day for a few hours at a time. Outside these times you are left to your own devices. We had a couple of issues with fire alarm going off & power cuts, but this was not surprising given we were there just after the hurricanes.

Apt with awesome kitchenette

Very quiet setting depending on your neighbors. I recommend the top floor. The kitchenettes are brand new and very nice. The pool is very nice also

No water!

Could not stay there! No water, told there was a water strike. Besides no water....bugs in room, no screens, garage door in kitchen opened to ground level, chickens and cats walk right into room with no way to keep them or bugs out.

Reasonable quality at a reasonable price.

Rooms (mini-apartments) are comfortable and clean. Unfortunately, though, there is absolutely no "media" available (no radio, no TV, no Internet), so when you are in your room you feel completely cut-off from the rest of the world .... but for your phone. Wireless internet only works within the hotel management shack/breakfast area, but DOES NOT work in any of the mini-apartments. Which "of course" have NO cabled internet sockets as well ...

Nous avons passĂ© un super sejour entre amis. Les logements avec terrasse en rez de chaussĂ©e permette un acces rapide a la piscine, qui est tres grande et agreable en fin de journee. Une residence intimiste oĂč l'on ne croise que quelques vacanciers en mai. Logement plus que correct, tous les equipements necessaires sont founis. Literie et salle de bain au top. Personnel trĂšs sympathique. Je recommande sans hesiter !
