This place went above and beyond on every level. My brother and I were very late checking in after midnight. The hospitality that we were shown and the grace that was given for our late check-in was so appreciated. They literally left the light on for us.Thank you to all the staff for a wonderful time. The views are amazing too. We highly recommend this hotel.

Perfect ski in and out ideal for a short ski break. Hotel decor in bedroom and dining room is tired and needs updating. The breakfast room has stunning views of mount Blanc. Food was delicious. Disappointing the fire pit was not ever lit. Spa was definitely a bonus. Staff friendly and very helpful. Great location.

Just had 5 nights with the family on a skiing holiday in this lovely hotel located right on the slopes. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, the lounge with stunning views of Mont Blanc is stylish and welcoming, the rooms despite being a little tired are warm, clean and have crisp white sheets and fluffy towels. We also had balcony with mountain views. There were some lovely touches too, like little teddy bears on our children’s beds and a bottle of champagne on arrival because it was New Year’s Eve. The spa area with a sauna for hotel guests is a really nice bonus, as is the heated boot room for ski boots. It was great to sit in front of the open fire in the restaurant after a day skiing and sample the menu and range of drinks. Yes the menu is not extensive but you can turn starters into mains and mix things up to add variety - it’s all delicious. And it is pricey but no more so than anywhere else on the slopes. Overall this is a relaxed, peaceful and friendly three-star hotel that was perfect for a family skiing holiday. Would definitely go again. Thanks for looking after us!

Great holiday!

This is a very small hotel, about 30 rooms, right at the foot of the ski slopes, with stunning views all round. Stayed there for a weeks skiing with a friend (the skiing is great there). The staff were all lovely, really helpful, hotel spotless, beautiful lounge and terrace, comfy dining room with log burner, and bar on the end of the hotel. Rooms a bit shabby but I guess they are doing the place up gradually. Very clean and comfortable though, great bed, and plenty of hot water. I stayed in a Superior room which was very spacious and had a balcony to sit out on, overlooking the slopes. I very much enjoyed the food: good variety at breakfast. The evening menu is quite short but they change the fish and meat option every day so there is plenty of variety, and everything I had was delicious. Very good drinks menu, if I have one criticism I would have liked a cheaper local wine option. We were very happy overall with what the hotel offered but should say that Le Bettex is a tiny hamlet, and the shops and bars there are only open during the day / early evening. This means if you want to eat elsewhere you really need a car, as there is nowhere else within walking distance at night. Also, because of the hotel location, you need to walk quite a way from their car park to the hotel with your luggage. These are not criticisms, just what you get if you want a ski in/out hotel. I loved my stay there and will certainly return if I get the chance.

Allez au Bettex Hiver comme Ete

Je suis venu pour la première fois au Bettex en 1963, la je cmapais dans un pré avec des copains. Ensuite j'ai utilisé le chalet du CAF du Mont d'Arbois et plus récemment l'Hotel Arbois Bettex. Dans toutes ces expériences j'ai été sensible à la magie du lieu. Et la nouvelle euqpe d el(Arbois Bettex a bien réussi a préserver cette magie.

En plein couvre feu avec une station fermée et les resto et bar fermé, c’était pas évident. Mais les hôtelier étaient bien sympathiques, le service en chambre très bien et l’hôtel bien calme ! Manque dans les chambres de quoi se faire un thé ou un café, pas de proposition de carte des vins avec le menu (mais on était équipé) , la TV le soir était un peu capricieuse ( de temps en temps on ne recevait plus qu’une chaîne russe !). On a bien profité des pistes directement accessible en raquette ou peau de phoque sans personne. Bon petit séjour tranquille

Point positif : l’hôtel se trouve au pied des pistes, l’on ne peut pas faire plus près. Une ambiance chalet qui est très agréable. Un accès à là piscine et au sauna malgré quelque petit bémol. Point négatif : difficile de trouver l’hôtel, il est en renfoncement. La salle de bain n’était pas très propre. Lorsque j’ai ouvert l’eau de la douche elle était marron et sa pendant 2 minutes puis est devenu transparente. Dans l’ensemble le séjour était agréable, je trouve juste le prix un peu excessif par rapport à la qualité proposé.

J’ai séjourné de nombreuses fois dans cet hôtel. Les plus : Les chambres sont simples mais propres. La vue sur le massif du Mont Blanc est imprenable, l’endroit est vraiment magique. Les moins : J’ai l’impression que le propriétaire a changé. Et l’accueil m’a semblé « froid ». Nous étions coureurs de la Montagn’Hard. Nous avons demandé s’il était possible d’avoir un petit déjeuner tôt : pas possible contrairement aux autres années. Le matin suivant nous avons voulu prendre le petit déjeuner dehors, on nous a fait comprendre que cela les gênait. (Ok si vous prenez un plateau...) Pourtant le principal intérêt de cet hôtel, c’est sa vue incroyable sur le Mont Blanc. Impression globale mitigée, les propriétaires ont-ils conscience de la situation exceptionnelle de leur hôtel? Je reviendrai probablement malgré tout, pour la vue !

Séjour de une nuit, des plus et des moins. Pas très pratique pour décharger les valises, l'hôtel se trouve en bas des pistes, donc là tout va bien, mais le parking se trouve en contrebas, et pour décharger il faut monter un grand escalier pour se rendre à l'hôtel. L'hôtel possède une piscine chauffée et un sauna bien équipée avec douche, sèche cheveux, serviettes ... appréciable en fin de journée. Sinon le soir un peu tristounet, que le restaurant de l'hôtel, plutôt moyen, et cher, rien pour vraiment se promener. Petit déjeuner 15 euros !!! Terrasse très sympathique pour prendre le soleil au pied des pistes très animée, nous cela nous convenait, mais ne chercher pas la tranquillité. Par contre, réservation pour une chambre de 3 personnes, et 3 lits une place mis dans une chambre minuscule, un peu surpris par ce manque place, pas vraiment moyen de bouger, un des lits étaient contre la porte de la salle de bains. Un plus, peignoirs et serviettes mis à disposition dans la chambre également pour le rendre à la piscine. Un peu bruyant, du fait que les portes des chambres claquent régulièrement. En résumé des plus et des moins (mais une vraie chambre pour 3 aurait été appréciable)

Hotel idéalement placé, au pied des pistes, par contre pas d’accès en voiture, il faut faire au moins 100 m avec ses bagages et ski à travers les escaliers métalliques. après notre journée de ski, nous avons eu la mauvaise surprise, que notre chambre était prévue pour 2, alors que nous avions retenu pour 3 personnes,aprés de long momment de discusion, nous avons pu avoir notre chambre. Concernant le petit déjeuner à 15 euros,nous avons eu du beurre et de la confiture en stick plastique. Ne devrait pas avoir trois étoiles.

2 jours fantastiques passés dans cet hôtel : nous avons pu faire 3 belles balades, se détendre au sauna, se revigorer à la piscine, le tout inclus dans le prix de la 1/2 pension ; repas de qualité, copieux, varié, servis avec professionnalisme et gentillesse ; personnel attentionné et prévenant ; chambre très calme, avec un très grand lit, une vue époustouflante sur le Mont-Blanc et 2 grands balcons pour en profiter ;
