Domaine des Gîtes au Soleil Levant: gites with heated indoor pool

10 minutes from the beaches, quiet in a field of nature of 6 hectares, near Jard-sur-Mer, between Sables d'Olonne and La Tranche-sur-Mer, our two holiday cottages, the "Tourterelle" and the "Chickadee" in the heart of the field "Gîtes au Soleil Levant" welcome you all year "La Henrière" in Saint-Hilaire-La-Forêt.

Our two lodgings, labeled "Gîtes de France" -3 epis-, are independent, with their own entrance, parking and private enclosed garden without vis-à-vis, and have access to the indoor heated pool.
This pool is heated to 28 ° / 32 ° from mid-March to mid-November and available from 10:00 to 19:00.
It has a paddling pool for young children to paddle safely while their parents are next door in the pool or on the terrace.

Sheets are provided and beds are made upon arrival.

Bicycles available, outdoor games, ping-pong, badminton, petanque, basketball sign.
At Gîtes au Soleil Levant, pets are always welcome!
(enclosed garden and hiking trails, equestrian, mountain biking on site from the cottage ...)

Our equestrian cottage is also an ideal starting point to the many hiking trails between dolmens, beach, pine forests and countryside.

The large cottage "TOURTERELLE":
This cottage offers a nice capacity of reception on 2 floors, which is ideal to share a stay between friends or family.
Very well equipped, quality bedding Orienté Est, it overlooks a closed garden of 900m2.

Our cottages have access to the indoor heated pool.
You'll enjoy cooling off after a day on the beach, or warming up in the fall and spring when the fresh air is still fresh.
In summer, the pool opens onto a terrace where you can sunbathe.
We also thought of parents who have very young children: the pool has a paddling pool in which you can monitor your little one who will be delighted to paddle in the water next to his parents.
The pool includes of course all the security elements required.

That's right, the Vendée is above all a big sandbox since over 250 kilometers of coastline, more than 60% are sandy beaches where families come to enjoy the fresh air of the sea during the summer.

Less than 8 minutes away are the beach and the marina of Jard-sur-Mer.
In the direction of the Tranche / Sea, you will find the beach of Saint-Vincent-de-Jard, the Bouil, the Rock (the Conches), and the Terrière.
In the direction of Les Sables d'Olonne, you reach the beach of Payré and after Port Bourgenay, it is a rocky coast to the large beach of Sables d'Olonne.

Less than 10 minutes by car, in the town of Talmont-Saint-Hilaire, you can discover the Château de Talmont.

Built in the early 11th century, the old fortress of Richard Coeur de Lion immerses you in the heart of the Middle Ages!

In summer discover the chivalry shows, and the new falconry show.

The castle also offers guided tours and medieval workshops (costumes, calligraphy, crossbow shooting, path of the little knight).

The Adventurers' Castle

Located less than 2 kilometers from our vacation rentals, the castle of adventurers is a family leisure park.

You will carry out surveys and riddle courses in a park around the castle Guignardière.

Among the activities: pirates, treasure hunt, castle secrets, a world tour and Western City

At Easter, an egg-hunting activity is open.

The Château de la Guignardière is a Renaissance castle made up of sloping roofs with a steep slope, a clever architecture of chimney stumps. It was built around 1550 for Jean Girard, baker of King Henry II.

Finfarin Folly

Finfarine is a pretty lake a few kilometers from the cottages where you can walk and fish.

But it is also the place of a theme park very well done on honey and bees. The little ones love this educational and fun park where you can discover the life of bees and the making of honey.

You can browse a giant hive to understand its organization, but also learn the cycle of making different honeys in the house.

The madness Finfarine, it is also a park of preserved nature of 15ha where you will be able to walk while following animations and workshops around the subject.

Finally, do not hesitate to discover the shop to buy delicious products made from honey.

The Zoo des Sables d'Olonne

Located in Olonne-sur-Mer, this large zoo located near the edge of the ocean is a haven of greenery of 3 ha in which you can discover about 360 animals including 50 endangered species.

This park has existed since 1964 and favors the discovery of rare species but also the local flora and fauna.

You will begin your visit with the Oceania Aviary and discover lions, giraffes, monkeys and other exotic animals that will delight young and old.

Indian Forest

This park is primarily a tree climbing park (treetop). There are introductory courses that allow children to try this sporting activity, but also courses of increasing difficulty, greens in height, reds that require a level confirmed with agility and balance, and the black course which is done by the strength of the arms and requires an excellent technique.

You will not resist the pleasure of the Zipline that will drag you into the forest for more than 2 km.

You will also find in this park a water jump area with 19 tracks and 11 jumps to test figures in skiing, surfing, BMX, buoy or bodysurf (The park provides security equipment).

For the youngest, the park offers a space for games, circus learning and a circuit of activities and challenges.

Finally, the site offers a world of paintball.

O'Gliss Park

This park is new and will delight those who love the water games.

You will find in the ludo park waterslides plunging in water at 31 °, the aquaspray with its jets and mist, a wave pool and tapas bar, a large pool with its beach.

You will be able to cross the speed river on 3 different courses and also in toboggans slides for thrills.

This park is located next to Indian Forest and you can buy combined tickets for the 2 parks.

The Aquarium of 7 continents

Beautiful aquarium where you can discover in 3 worlds the fish and marine animals of the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean, whether in their temperate or tropical areas, the triangle of the Coral of the Indian Ocean and a 360 ° of the Great Barrier Reef at the Red Sea.

With 500 species distributed in 12 aquariums, you will have a good time.

This is the favorite attraction of families who come to our cottages when the weather is bad because you are indoors.

The Puy du Fou Park

No longer present this park now known internationally, many times awarded as the best park in the world!

This very large theme park will make a very long walk for the whole family. Located 50min drive from our cottages, it offers a lot of entertainment and shows in reconstructed environments such as villages, forts, arenas, Viking Viking.

Difficult to name all the possible activities as there are in this park which also offers entry passes over 2 days.

This park also includes many nature and games area.

Among the spectales, you will be able to admire the evening Cinéscénie and the organs of fire.

A real must in the tourist activities of the Vendée.

The Cairn - Discovery of prehistory

All around our tourist accommodations are many dolmens and menhirs.

Located in the village 2km is Le Cairn, kind of museum discovery of prehistory. It is not a museum in the traditional sense. Here you will learn to live like prehistoric men, to make fire with 2 sticks, to make pottery and ornaments.
