The location of this hotel was beautiful, and the buffet breakfast was excellent, but the room was tiny, bathroom was so cramped that we could not sit on the toilet without banging our knees on the shelf under the sink. But our primary disappointment came from our treatment by the first receptionist of the hotel. We were baffled and dismayed by her inexplicable hostility from the moment we arrived. While we are grateful that she did help us get another room when my 82-year old husband could not carry the suitcases all the way up the narrow stairs to the top floor, she seemed to resent us being there. One of the other ladies was very kind, warm and welcoming and she was the best part of our stay in St. Malo. But this other woman’s hostility towards us completely ruined our entire experience in St. Malo. We could never recommend this hotel.

Authentic perfect location and wonderful hospitality. Loved the breakfast room. Very helpful booking taxi for trip to train station. Peaceful sea view from our room. Highly recommend

I had an excellent time at the Hotel. The best location in Saint Malo, beautiful corner of the old town, by the walls with the best view over the ocean, and at the main beach. The staff were the just best, welcoming, smiling and caring, always there to help and assist. It really felt like being welcomed by a family. Very nice breakfast and finally the bar was also a nice place to work.

Fantastic hotel right in heart of st Malo Lovely owners so friendly. so nice to sit out side with a drink with view of sea and people watching room had amazing views very comfortable and clean and quiet would definitely come back

Excellent location, immediate access to the city wall and to the beach,. Fifteen minute walk to the Brittany Ferries terminal. Caution, narrow and steep stairs.
