Tranquil private villa
Lovely villa with exceptional pool and outdoor living space. Jean Luc extremely attentive and friendly. Unfortunately, our stay was marred by sporadic, and sometimes lengthy, power outages due to ongoing strike action by electric company workers. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay. This is a fantastic property that we would unreservedly recommend to friends and family.

The absolute best place to stay!
Incredible villa...the view, the location, the house, the pool, the beach and the host Jean-Luc! Very close to Deshaies and ste Rose where there are markets and shops, rum tours and hikes and great restaurants. Place de Clugny can be seen from the pool and it’s a very short walk away. Our favourite beach because it is never crowded, the sand is beautiful and there’s a little beach bar Francine’s. Jean luc made sure we had everything we needed and checked in with us regularly but also gave us our privacy. Sad to leave but hope to be back!

Juste parfait!
Nous revenons d'une vacance d'une semaine en Guadeloupe et avons loué cette jolie maison situé entre St-Rose et Deshaies. Pour vous dire à quel point nous avons apprécié notre séjour, nous avions toujours ce petit sentiment de culpabilité de partir pour des journées complètes et laisser notre maison inhabitée... On s'y sentais tellement bien! Premièrement Jean-Luc est vraiment très sympathique, discret et soucieux que nous ne manquions de rien. Sa maison est situé à environ 10 minutes à pieds de la jolie plage de Clugny (route par contre passante et pas de trottoir). Nous avons donc pris la voiture pour s'y rendre (une minute). Elle est à environ 10 minutes de la plage de grande anse et 5 minutes d'un supermarché. La maison n'a pas de voisin arrière et est à air ouverte. Des portes électriques sont en place pour fermer la nuit. La maison est bien équipée. Nous n'avons manqué de rien. Piscine et spa furent très appréciés. En terminant, nous avons longtemps hésité entre grande terre et basse terre. Pour avoir été dans les deux parties, nous avons été enchantés d'avoir choisi basse-terre. Ce côté de l"île est beaucoup plus montagneux, moins touristique, moins peuplé et est si jolie à visiter car la route principale longe la mer et nous offre continuellement de magnifiques paysages.

Beautiful setting, lovely villa
We chose this villa as the northwest coast of Guadeloupe is much quieter and less commercialised. We were delighted to find this luxury villa which offers a secluded pool (new in 2018), a spa pool/hot tub for 6, a huge covered living/lounging area and two air conditioned bedrooms with comfy double beds, modern shower/toilet. Kitchen has induction hob and microwave and a convection oven. Good size fridge. The WiFi was also excellent. View from the pool is wooded hills. Jean luc the owner was very helpful and met us on arrival. You can walk to a nice beach at Clugny but we loved Pearl beach which has two or three simple restaurants. DesHaies is best for eating out. We liked Madras (Catherine’s bar in Death in Paradise. Best meal was Kawan (French) in the hills and the eccentric Poisson Rouge (creole). We did drive to see the grande terre island which has more sheltered beaches. Recommend a stop in the old centre of Pointe a Pitre to see the market, try some street food and see the fishermen’s catch. Do drive east to Le Chateau and back via La Moule.

Villa à sainte rose
Grande maison agréable dans un quartier tranquille et proche en voiture de commerces. Grand nombre de serviettes mis à notre disposition.Déception pour l'utilisation de la piscine, PH de l'eau qui nous a obligé à faire intervenir le propriétaire sur les 3 premiers jours ensuite la filtration de l'eau s'est arrêtée pour le reste de notre séjour... il aurait fallu faire passer le propriétaire chaque jour.... Peu d'équipements de cuisine (1 poêle, 1 faitout, ....) ensemble hétérogène Nous considérons que le rapport qualité-prix de notre séjour n'y était pas.

Magnifique séjour entre amis. Villa super bien située et conforme avec les photos et description de la publicité. Excellent gestionnaire de l'hébergement - toujours dispo et serviable! Les plages des alentours sont magnifiques!

Un régal !
Nous avons passé une semaine de bonheur dans un cadre magnifique, une belle maison , dans le vert et la tranquillité. La piscine et le jacuzzi étaient un régal . Nous en avons profité un max. L'acceuil de Jean -Luc était très chaleureux et amical. Pour ceux qui cherchent la tranquilité c'est ici qu'il faut venir !
