On the outskirts of St Emilion Le REFUGE DU PEINTRE is a charming house.

It is the family home, former bakery of an ancestor, then a wine estate and finally the refuge of our holidays when my parents taught "around" the world. In retirement, my mother wanted to pursue her desire to travel by welcoming guests in this family home that she redesigned and decorated with taste. Passionate about painting, the walls are marked with her works evolving over time. Each of the rooms (Mariane, Josephine, Manon and Les Pêcheurs) are in the image of these slightly revolutionary but also sensual women who have marked the history of France and France (my mother's first name). I take up the torch of this family home to "continue" this beautiful journey with the desire to tell you a few little secrets about the treasures of our beautiful region rich in gastronomy, heritage and art of living.<br> The entire house can be booked for a capacity of 12 people on request by adding the Marquise and Beky room and their respective shower room and toilet (see the ad AB2222877).<br>This means that if you rent the Refuge du peintre for 8 people, the adjoining cottage can be booked by other travellers. Rest assured, everyone has their own gate and private entrance.
