Built in 1909 and delivered by train, this is a genuine Sears Craftsman house! Inside, elegance mixes with shabby-chic as this house displays its multifaceted personality. A home that is at once historic, charming, funky and eclectic. It's a peaceful and relaxing place to reconnect with family and friends and to rest up for another awesome day in the beautiful Arkansas Valley. Only 4 blocks from the Arkansas River, restaurants, shops and Salida night life fun!

This home offers:
~Open, spacious living and dining area, great for gatherings.
~Two bedrooms, both with Queen beds
~Cable TV, Stereo and WiFi
~DVD player with a large selection of DVD's
~A spacious, sunny, park-like yard/patio with a gas grill and a fenced for your dog's pleasure, and your privacy!
~Please note, this home does not have air conditioning

All Pinon homes are "vacation ready" with a fully appointed kitchen, towels and linens. Hand, dish and shower soaps are provided, as well as toilet paper, trash bags, salt and pepper and coffee filters. Bring your own laundry detergent, paper napkins and toiletries.

Pinon Vacation Rentals provides guest support from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 pm.

Reservations may be canceled more than 30 days prior to check-in with full refund minus a $125 Cancellation fee or a $75 Change fee if applicable. No refunds will be issued after this cut-off date for any reason. No refunds will be issued due to weather conditions.**

Great location!

Great location, my family and I were in town for a bike race so walkability/bikability was important to us and this suited perfectly! Spacious home, huge backyard for the dog, and our favorite part had to be sitting on the front porch swing every night while winding down. Couple things that need upgraded, but I messaged the property management directly. Overall a great stay!

The house was very nice and had everything we needed. 4th st is also very quiet. Just two things to be aware of. Like many older Salida homes there are not that many electrical outlets and only some of them support a 3 prong plug. An extension cord is helpful. Also, while the kitchen range is functional, the burners are a little wobbly

Wonderful, walkable old Salida charm

We enjoyed our stay at this property, the house is spacious and very comfortable, and perfectly located for being able to walk everywhere. We were able to walk down to the river, enjoy the shops and restaurants of downtown, and we even found a lovely farmer’s market in the park just 2 blocks away. Highly recommend for a group of 2-4.

Cozy & Pet-friendly Bungalow

Very quaint house; nicely furnished and had everything we needed. Good location; great yard and front porch for relaxing with the doggos. It would be awesome to have the yard fence connected to the back door; this would facilitate bringing toys, food, etc., to/from the yard. Excellent communication with host; was very responsive to a couple requests we had, especially it being a Sunday. Will definitely come again!

Salida spring break

This is a precious little historical home with loads of charm. It has obviously had a lot of work put in. We stayed in Salida and drove to monarch to ski. The house is so close to parks and Main Street - easy to walk to everything. It’s dog friendly so the back yard is completely fenced in. Just something to keep in mind - the backyard doesn’t have direct access from the house. You have to go out a side door and through the gate. Wasn’t a huge deal, we just had to walk her out. Would definitely stay again!

The Bungalow

The house was cleanly and well maintained and I liked the fenced yard very much! The check in process was simple and lines of communication were always open with this property company. It's a great place for a small group! There were two rooms with single beds each and a single bathroom. It is close to town and I was able to get parking near the house every day (within a block if not in front of the house). I was there off season so the parking may be further away in full season, but doable if you like being right in town!

The fenced in yard is not accessible directly from house, just a few steps from back porch to gate. So if you have a runner make sure you don’t just let them out. The yard is perfect for dogs! Very nice home, perfect location and it worked great for our visit!!

Great dog friendly place

My family, boyfriend , and stayed thoroughly enjoyed our stay & would come back to same house again. I only wished we did 3 nights in from Denver & not 2. Great location & easy to easy to walk downtown to restaurants & shops. Dog friendly with backyard that has access from outside of house. Our dog loved to able to roam & sniff around. The Pinon group really did well communicating changes & updates like early check in. Really easy check in & out process. Only thing would recommend would be directions on how to work TV : apps, cable, dvd player, sound bar. They all had their own remote controls! When internet was spotty & could not access TV apps I tried using DVD player but could not get to work beyond it turning on in player. Great overall experience just need tv & remote instructions!

Another Amazing Time in Salida

Weather was beautiful. Saw the fall foliage change not only in the mountains, yet right in the front yard of this lovely home. The swing on the front porch is a perfect touch. The backyard and grill were great for a few meals outside. Would certainly return to this property, the location was perfect!

The home is nice and we enjoyed the location. it's quint and has a great back yard. The bathroom is located at the back of the home through the kitchen, so it's a little inconveniant, but wasn't an issue since it was just my spouse and I staying there. We would stay again if it's just the two of us.

Best location!

This was our second time staying at this property and we loved it yet again. Perfect for my husband, myself and our 2 fur kids. We rented bikes for the week and didn't have to use the car at all! Really is located in the best spot in town. Accessible to everything. The house itself is adorable. On the older side but well maintained. And the backyard is a total bonus! Highly recommend.
