Welcome to Petit Menot, a charming and completely private vacation home where you will be guests of Frans and Suse. Here, you can enjoy peace, space, and a true feeling of coming home, surrounded by the rolling hills and sweeping views that make the Charente so beloved. Thanks to our location close to the Dordogne, you have the best of two beautiful regions within easy reach.
Petit Menot is also an ideal stopover on the way to Spain — San Sebastián is only 400 kilometers away.

🏡 Comfortable and fully equipped
The house accommodates up to four guests and is furnished with comfort and relaxation in mind.
• Upstairs, you’ll find two bedrooms, a desk, a dressing room, and a modern bathroom with a shower and an additional toilet.
• Downstairs, there is a fully equipped kitchen and a practical utility room with all modern conveniences.
• At the front of the house, a private terrace awaits — perfect for breakfast in the morning sun or a glass of wine in the evening.

🍽️ Culinary indulgence
Guests staying for one night receive a simple French breakfast. For longer stays, a more extensive breakfast is available on request.
Several times a week, we also offer Table d’hôtes, which we are happy to prepare for you.
For longer stays, it is possible — in consultation — to use the outdoor kitchen, ideal for long summer evenings.

Pets are welcome; the surcharge is €10 per night. Small and medium-sized dogs only (maximum 50 lbs / 23 kg).

• Bordeaux (± 1.5 hours): elegant, lively, and easily accessible by direct train from Angoulême.
• Brantôme: the “Venice of the Périgord,” with a monastery, river, and fine restaurants.
• Aubeterre-sur-Dronne: officially one of the Most Beautiful Villages in France, with an impressive underground church, craft shops, and a lovely river beach.
