Great Sandy apartment with hot tub and pool table!

This is a very large two bedroom apartment in beautiful Sandy, Utah. The property is close to everything! Right off the beaten path on a quiet private lane. Close to a grocery store, many restaurants and shops. You will be 13 miles from Snowbird Ski Resort and 21 miles from Solitude Ski Resort with ski rental shops right down the road.

There are miles of walking trails in Dimple Dell Regional Park that can be accessed from the property by foot. Also very close to mountain biking and hiking trails in the foothills of the mountains. Less than a mile away is a 24 hour Fitness Center and Dimple Dell Recreation Center with an indoor pool, water slides and climbing wall.

The property has separate entrance and is a private separate basement apartment. The home that is situated on a one acre parcel down a quiet private lane. The large living space has 9 foot ceilings and has a comfortable, roomy, private patio with Hot tub, outdoor table and BBQ. The inside of the apartment has a full size pool table and beautiful brand new kitchen with quartz counter tops. The roomy space has a big island and a full size washer and dryer. There is a king bed and walk in closet in one room and queen bed in the other bedroom. Additional guests can sleep in the great room using the high quality hide a bed sofa (full size mattress) and twin size hide a bed in the ottoman. There is a full size bathroom with bathtub and shower.

The place worked out great for us(2 couples) here in Utah for skiing. Ski areas (cottonwoods) were all within 25 minutes. Also ventured 35 minutes over to Park City to check it out. Up to Snowbasin was about an hour. Hot tub was perfect after skiing!Would recommend to anyone looking for the same. Great stay!

Everything excellent. For future guest just keep in mind that the entrance to the property is through some steep stairs. ( the one shown on the pictures) if you have elderly guest might not be as easily accessible.

2nd time here hosts do a great job. Everything we needed and a nice hot tub after a full ski day. Snowbird, Alta are 10 min and Brighton and Solitude 30-40 min. Easy trip home.

Would recommend, but things you should know.

Great location for our Snowbird ski week. Five minute drive to Ski Bus. Apartment had everything we needed, was clean and comfortable, pool table and hot tub were very nice perks. I would recommend this rental to others with a few facts added to the property description. This is a basement apartment with the family living upstairs. You will hear them if they are home. Didn't bother us, but something a renter should know. Also, the stairs down to the apartment are narrow and uneven. Anyone with physical limitations may have trouble. Again, didn't bother us one bit, but something you should be aware of ahead of time. I would rent this place again.

This is the Place to Stay!

We stayed a month (mid Feb to mid March) at this awesome apartment to ski the Cottonwood Canyons. This place is as pictured and more... very clean and SPACIOUS! Everything you need is provided including a washer and dryer. And, if you do run into something you need, Summer, our host, will see to it that you have it. (Thanks, Summer!) Speaking of Summer (and Russ)... incredibly kind and funny people. We so enjoyed talking with them and getting to know their Fam. The apartment is a convenient drive, or bus ride, to the ski slopes and well as many other activities, food and nightlife. And, the hot tub after a day of skiing... do I have to say it... INCREDIBLE! You can even see the mountaintops! We definitely recommend staying here for a few days or a month for your Utah adventures!

Perfect Location for Skiing

We came for spring break so the boys could snowboard/ski. The location of the property was fantastic. It was an easy drive to the base of the canyons (probably around 10 minutes) and the resorts at top around 25+ min - depending resort and traffic. The See & Ski shop for rentals is only a mile and half away from the house, grocery store about a half mile, and there are plenty of restaurants near by. Pool table was great. Hot tub was clean and hot! Beds were comfortable and kitchen was fully stocked. Great experience.

Very satisfied with Accommodations and Location

We skied at Snowbird, Solitude and Brighton. Drove most of the days as the roads were clear and no snow. Did take the UTA bus on the last day where it was snowing. Yelp helped us find some great restaurants real close, everything was within 10 min drive for good food, shopping grocery, takeout etc. Host was very responsive. Bedrooms with large closets, if you were going to sleep more than 4, then only downside might be the one bathroom. Other than that place is huge and very comfy.

Perfect Base Camp

2 friends and I came to SLC to ski the local mountains. The location was perfect to quickly get to the resorts and then come back and relax in the hot tub before going out again the next day. The property was also very comfortable and spacious.

Great place to stay!

We really loved staying at this beautiful property! Everything was really nice inside, the location was convenient for skiing and going out afterwards, and the view from the backyard was great. We had a ton of fun with the pool table and hot tub. As a basement rental, you do occasionally hear the owner's family upstairs, but not a big deal. Walking down the stairs in the backyard to enter the rental would be tricky for those with mobility issues, as you do have to hike down uneven rock steps (though it was fine for us). The owner was also super nice and helpful. We'll definitely be back!
