Best little B&B in town.

Superbly managed. Great times. Lost a few personal items, but that on me. Pretty sure my pants had a hole (quite literally). Thank you Midvale!

They canceled our reservations without contacting us, even though we paid for the rooms AND they had our phone numbers, because we checked in late. They said to cancel it through our online booking to be refunded. It's not able to be canceled online because its too late. So now we may be charged for rooms they gave to someone else (and made money off from so.eone else as well.). Absolutely ridiculous. Hotels are for people who are traveling and sometimes you get to your destination after 10pm. If we don't get the money back we are going to have major issues.

When I came in, I was greeted by a German Shepherd barking loudly, which caught me off guard. The same German Shepherd greeted me when I checked out the next day. The hotel appeared in disrepair. Paint was chipped all over the baseboard and walls. The electric outlet didn’t work in my bathroom and there was a stale smell. The coffee maker didn’t appear clean and the refrigerator wasn’t turned on but looked gross anyway so I wouldn’t have used it. Garbage was overflowing outside. My bedspread was stained. I didn’t feel comfortable being barefoot in my room and was questioning how clean my bed really was. As I was leaving, the person was sweeping the lobby and didn’t stop when I walked by so there was dust swept on my feet. I would not recommend! I didn’t feel very safe, but I’m glad I had my dog with me. It looks much nicer from the outside than it actually is on the inside. There was also dog poop all over the perimeter of the property. This place just isn’t cared for.

The staff there were very unprofessional. They didn't have name tags on. Treated me and my friend with so much disrespect! I have never had such bad customer service in my life!!! Ice machine was and has been broken over a year so we had to go get our own ice at the local store. Fridge was broken. No shelves to put anything in, bathroom was discussing! Had 3 throw pillows to sleep with instead of normal pillows. I can't say it enough! I didn't even end up staying because of the filth and the rude staff. Worst hotel experience of my life! I will definitely spread the word to not stay there ever!

Promising start but fail

It started bad from the check in with being told we need to do a mandatory cash deposit instead of using our card like a traditional hotel, when we needed towls in the night we were told how it was our fault for bot doing it in the morning, when we checked out they said we were missing towls because we had turned them in the night before. They had no smoking signs all over but when you walk in all you can smell is bad weed.

Comfy Bed

As a single woman traveler, it was nice to feel safe staying here. It was comfortable, convenient location and affordable. Definitely needs love and updating, but the staff was friendly and helpful. Even made fresh cookies and had them available at the desk. Despite the condition of the room, it was clean with attentive housekeeping staff. Appreciative of the soft linen.

This was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. The blackout curtain rail was broken, and a blinding fluorescent light from outside flooded my room all night. When I asked the front desk for help, they just said, “Nothing I can do.” The room was filthy—stained sheets, clumps of human hair on the pillows, and yellow-stained towels. The bathroom was disgusting, the blow dryer didn’t work, and the countertops were covered in stains. To make matters worse, the lobby was overwhelmed with the smell of incense because the front desk staff insisted on burning sticks constantly. While personal preferences are fine at home, this is a hotel, not a private residence. It was unbearable. When I asked for clean sheets, an employee named Gina told me, “I bring my own when I travel. You should too.” Excuse me? I’m paying for a clean bed, not to bring my own! On top of all that, the place felt unsafe, with paramedics and police constantly showing up and sketchy guests lingering around. Between the filth, horrible service, and uncomfortable atmosphere, I wouldn’t stay here again if it were free. Do yourself a favor and stay anywhere else.
