Welcome to Union Park - Located in a private community, this home has it all; a private park next door with picnic tables and pavilion, two family rooms with vaulted ceilings, gas fireplace, flatscreen TVs with DVD player, full kitchen with bar and large dining table (dining for 11), and a private deck with hot tub with park view nestled under beautiful pine and aspen trees.



Great ski location! On the border of Cottonwood Heights, this home is just 5 miles to the mouth of Big Cottonwood Canyon to enjoy world-class skiing and snowboarding at Solitude, Brighton, Alta, and Snowbird ski and summer resorts. There is convenient freeway access just 5 minutes away for an easy drive to downtown Salt Lake for conventions at Salt Palace Convention Center.



In addition to this home, there is an adjoining 3 bedroom home next door (no interior connecting door) that can also be rented together or separate. When renting both homes together, you can accommodate 22 people. If you need space for even more people, you have the option of renting 9 total homes in this private community. Contact us for availability and to make arrangements. Renting all the homes together makes for a perfect home base for a family reunion or family gathering for any special occasion, family vacation, 50th wedding anniversary celebration, or a group ski vacation.



This home is dog-friendly, with a $100 fee per dog. No cats. If you are planning on bringing your furry friend, please make the appropriate selection at check-out or inform us directly so that we may update your reservation accordingly. Maximum 2 pets allowed unless approved otherwise (please contact us for approval). Failure to notify us may result in a fine of $500. We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring a pleasant stay for all guests.

Dont book, its falling apart and dirty

Stayed 10 days Nov 2024 only because I couldnt change my plans once I had arrived. There are 4 usable beds out of 6. Both pull out couches have frames that are broken. Which makes the couches unusable too.  When you step in the shower without it running water squirts out of the floor because the shower pan isnt sealed and you can smell mould. The microwave door is cracked, the paint is multiple colors of beige where repainted, there are over 40 dents, dings, and scratches in the walls, the washing machine front panel is held on by duct tape. I wiped the grey coffee table and the rag came away brown as if it had never been wiped. The bathroom light /fan combo has no cover and has not been cleaned since the house was built, guaranteed. There are missing smoke detectors. The hot tub doesnt work and is covered in long pine needles, the inside also has pine needles.  All but 3 blinds were unusable. 3 had slats broken out of them. There was mould in the walk in closet light fixture, the ensuite tub is jetted so there was no way I was using it after everything else I noted. The couch leg was broken off when we arrived but was fixed when reported.  I filmed a video of the damages because they say i need to fill out a waiver of existing damages when i arrived and never supplied the form!!!Both my kids ended up catching a cold near day 7 of our stay as well. Save your money and get a hotel where there are standards.

Needs some love

Location was great, nice quiet street with a park right next to the house. Communication from management was great but the house doesn’t look like the pictures. You can tell that this has been a rental for years with little upkeep. The baseboards look like they have been soaking in water, carpets have seen better days, there were holes in the walls, the master toilet room smelled like urine, back deck steps are broken and move when walked on and every blind downstairs was broken. Overall this was ok for a couple nights, but we wouldn’t stay here again unless some upkeep was done.

Great location and plenty of room. Rentals are clean but lack maintenance. Had to switch accommodations because AC and ice maker didn't work. All blinds were broken - stuck open or closed. Master bedroom mattress had major stains. Homes looked "abused" - lots of drywall damage, broken lights, one exterior door had cable hanging in the way. To me, it looked like too many long term rentals and no maintenance. Smoke detectors were missing/broken, door knobs fell off, and front door had to be locked or wind would blow open. Park was very nice and good place to run/walk. I would not stay again unless reviews convinced me they addressed the lack of proper maintenance.

Spacious, Comfortable and Modern Townhome

We were very pleased with this spacious, comfortable and modern townhome. Each of the three bedrooms was good size and comfortable, including the massive primary bedroom/bathroom suite. The living areas were nicely sized and decorated. The kitchen was well-stocked and highly-functional. The washer/dryer, deck and hot tub were appreciated. The unit is nicely-priced and conveniently located in a quiet residential neighborhood with good access to food, drink and ski areas.

Just what we were looking for!

This location was perfect! It was an end unit in the corner with great parking space for all 4 vehicles. There was a spacious yard next to the property where we were able to play yard games while watch the teens use the hot tub. On down time the littles were able to snuggle up to eachother and relax on tablets or playing board games. We cooked most ALL meals on the property. Everything was provided. The location was also so close to restaurants and grocery stores. We had access to anything we needed. The other amazing thing was being 5 MINUTES from the freeway. We traveled 5 hours to get there and didn't have to battle with traffic, only a couple stoplights. The house is as pictured. Welcoming and spacious. Great price for our whole family to stay under 1 roof. Especially splitting the cost 4 ways. We will definitely use this same location again in the future!!

Sisters trip

Our stay was overall great, there were just a few things that we would’ve wanted to know before. It would’ve been nice to know that there was a walking path in the yard to the city park so people were frequently going back and forth. Also, the hot tub is not very private as the houses are so close and the city park walking path is right behind it and you can only use it until 10pm. Overall, our stay was great like I said.

Just my opinion

The home is nice, good location. The stairs are steep & small so for children and older adults, it was tricky. Some of the blinds didn’t work, the washer and dryer were broken before we were able to use them. (Night of first stay) it was reported to maintenance who said they would ‘let them know’ but we heard nothing from anyone. We ran out of towels. There was a note above washer/dryer asking for renter to wash & fold towels prior to leaving. Impossible to do as appliances were non working. Hall shower had very weak stream & didn’t drain properly. There is a decent hot tub on the back deck with a nice size lot next door for kids to burn off energy, Directly behind the home is a nice park with paved walking path, grassy area, playground and basketball court.

Great location and property

The home backs to a park, which was lovely. The setup was perfect for our family and we appreciated the attention to detail! We had one plumbing problem during our stay and maintenance came out and fixed it quickly. We would definitely stay there again.

NICE BUT NEEDS A FEW THINGS

NICE PLACE BUT NOT REALLY ADEQUATE FOR THE NUMBER OF GUESTS ADVERTISED. FUTON NOT SLEEPING COMFORTABLE. CAN'T USE BOTH SHOWERS AT ONCE OR TAKE A SHOWER WITH WASHER RUNNING DUE TO WATER PRESSURE DROP. WIFI IS TEMPERAMENTAL AND HAVE TO RE LOG IN FREQUENTLY. DISHWASHER LOWER RACK NEEDS WORK. PRETTY WELL EQUIPPED AND OTHERWISE COMFORTABLE.
