When we booked this, we didn't actually know it was on a small site with a few static caravans and shared a courtyard with the neighbouring hotel. However, don't let this put you off. It's very private and quiet and in a great spot for visiting all the great things to do in the local area. The inside of the house was modern and clean and the bedrooms were all spacious and comfortable. Showers and bathrooms were great too. We received a friendly welcome and it was probably one of the best equipped places we've ever stayed. It was also nice to have a access to a playing field with a football net for our eldest.
The only negative we could find is that there were a few little aesthetic things in the house that were noticeable - a bed that had dried water marks on from rain that had come through a sky light, a broken freezer drawer and fridge door shelf, a few large scuff marks on walls, a ragged edge on a blind, loose part on the bannister etc. Although none of these had an impact on our holiday, these are little things that could easily be sorted that leave a better impression on visitors.
