Last minute booking, enjoyed our stay dinner was lovely and so was the breakfast. Stayed in a dog friendly room as needed with our dog. Few stains on carpet as to be expected but no unpleasant smells or anything so pleased with that. Room had basics tea and coffee with tiny biscuits which we used. Bed frame could do with tightening? It was wooden and rocked other wise good stay would deffo come again. Brill location for staiths and customer parking in back also.
Lovely stay at a traditional seaside hotel.food is served in the bar ,breakfast was excellent far too big ! Bed a bit hard room spacious and comfortable
Very welcoming, large bright warm room with great views. Tea/coffee/bottled water plenty. Very good breakfast included. Good food served in the evening with real ale spot on! Lovely staff. Easy access, good parking on site. Great position for all cafes, restaurants, pubs and chippy.
Cheap and cheerful but clean and tidy. Mattress was awful so had a poor night's sleep. That and a door slamming at an ungodly hour because of automatic door closers. Service was fine.
Friendly, homely, laid back atmosphere, and Yorkshire hospitality. Will definitely visit again the food is amazing, and the views and walks along the coast are perfect for burning the calories off.
Positives:
Decent view from window
Big bedroom with table and chairs
Good shower, window in bathroom so no noisy extractor fan
Close to bus stop and village attractions
Drinks and meals available in same
building
Negatives:
Bed wasnât the comfiest
Room at end of corridor on top floor so a bit of a walk going in and out
Lovely place to stay and easy to wlask down into village . Great view of sea from room . Quiet . Lovely breakfast and food in place lovely and very large portions . Staff all friendly
Reasonably priced, clean, staff very polite, helpful and welcoming.
Bed was comfy and the room was clean and warm.
Breakfast was all fresh and the food was great.
Ideally placed with a short walk down to the harbour or up to the the nearest bus stop to travel further afield if so desired.
Would recommend to anyone visiting Staithes and looking to explore further afield.
The village is great and the people at the Inn were welcoming and pleasant but it is overpriced for what you get. It is quite basic. The room had a pullout bed with only 3 slats so we had to put the mattress on the floor. Other than a rickety wardrobe the double bed and the pull-out bed were the only furniture. It's nice that dogs can stay and it was quiet and secure even with the pub below. The breakfast was satisfying.
I arrived mid-morning, knowing that check-in was not until 4.00pm. Despite this, they allowed me to park my car in their car park so that I could go off on a hike along the coastal path. Later, when I checked in and was shown to a room, they let me switch to a room with a bath, which I need for medical reasons. This was much appreciated, as were the evening meal and breakfast which were excellent. Staff were very friendly and helpful. All in all, one of the best B&Bs I have ever stayed in.
