Welcome to your coastal retreat in the peaceful community of Salvo. This 2-bedroom home has a new hot tub providing the perfect setting for stargazing and relaxing after an active day. The covered porch is ideal for coffee and conversation, and a large television with over 100 cable channels is available inside.

When it comes to beach access, the options are plentiful. A quick drive takes you to Rodanthe beach access, which offers a bathhouse, outdoor showers, picnic tables, and an oceanfront gazebo. For those looking for a more adventurous beach experience, Ramp 23 provides year-round 4WD and pedestrian access to the beaches south of Salvo. It is a 7-10 minute walk. Whether you're an angler, a surfer, or someone who enjoys the serenity of coastal life, this home provides convenient access to various recreational activities.

This sound-side bungalow is a great home base for visiting the Outer Banks and Hatteras Island. It is off Highway 12 but hidden among giant live oaks, eastern cedars, and other natural fauna. After a big day, enjoy the hot tub and the shower with eight massage heads, a foot jet, and a rain shower head. Self-check-in with an easy electronic keypad door lock.

A few steps away are a convenience/gas store, a Alex’s Shrimp Shack seafood/meat market, and a tackle shop. The Salvo Day Use Area is a little farther south at the end of the sidewalk. It provides access to the sound and has restrooms, a picnic area, and a few grills – and it's an excellent place for sunsets.

A great spot!
We had a great stay at the treehouse and in the Outer Banks!! The property was clean, homey, and had everything we needed to enjoy our time. Lee was communicative with us, which was great. The Blue Whale is also right across the street and is a wonderful stop to pick up anything you may need during your stay.

Our best vacation yet !
Me and my fiancé had never been on a beach vacay by ourselves so this little house was the perfect place for the 2 of us. Great location with so many good places around to eat. I highly recommend dinner at woodwinds. It was nice to not be on the crowded strip but also have plenty of options for stuff to do. The house felt very private for being right off the road. Had everything we needed for the week including a super comfy bed and the shower was amazing. Lee left us some nice towels and even trashbags, laundry and dish pods ect.. he was also very quick to respond to any questions I had. Would highly recommend this place to couples who want a very nice and peaceful getaway. P.s.a. Not for short people lol

Great anniversary trip!
The property was just as I expected it to be. Clean with linens and basic kitchen utensils. The shower is great! You can walk to the sound and the beach but we preferred to drive south on Rt 12 and park at 27. Like other commenters have stated, the counters and sinks are high. The washing and drying machines are raised as well. My husband needed a stool to put in the laundry detergent! There was plenty of space for the two of us and the location was quiet. I highly recommend staying at the treehouse!

Great weeks Vacation
Comfortable house, everything we needed was there!!! We tried Alex's shrimp shack twice while there Paragon stands by shrimp and key lime pie that you suggested. We also got pizza from Lisa's Pizza and enjoyed our beach days at rodanthe beach access. Lisa's Pizza was also very good!!

Perfect location and size
This house was just the right size for my boyfriend and I. It was located in a great spot close to highway 12 but still felt secluded. Short walk to the water on either side. A half hour south from Nags Head area and a half hour north from Hatteras area which made traveling in either direction nice.

The Purple Treehouse, Salvo
The house was exactly like it was described. Cute as can be and nice and quite. Huge yard in front and back and a couple hundred yards to a really nice dock out over the sound. We enjoyed the little purple treehouse immensely and would definitely go back.
