We are very impressed with how closely the property matched the description on VRBO. Luis was attentive and prompt in responding to queries. The property was very clean and spacious. Air-conditioning was helpful with effective units in bedrooms and the main living area. We were not able to connect with Wagner, the on-site manager so I cannot comment.

Spacious, clean house. Close enough to the beach and town to walk. AC in all the rooms and ceiling fans in all the outside seating areas made the house a nice oasis from the heat. Howler monkeys in the trees around the property was a nice touch!

Great location!

The location was absolutely great. The house was clean and well equipped. There were hammocks in the garden and a pool as well. The house is located 10 minutes away from the Samara beach by foot. But I’d also recommend Playa Carrillo which is 10 minutes away by car.

We stayed for a month at Luis's casa. Well provided in everything. Well equipped. The pool had to be repaired and Luis took it into his own hands and everything went back to normal but she needs more attention from the pool guys. We had a good time, the heat, the sun and the monkeys were there. 12 minutes from the beach 8 minutes to small grocery. Very good!

Home away from home

We truly enjoyed our time at this house in Samara. The host checked in with us on our stay to make sure everything was going well. When a remote control wasn’t working, they quickly had someone come out to fix it. The laundry washer and dryer were really nice to have. You can walk into town from here. We felt very comfortable and would happily stay here again.

Wonderful stay! Loved the location and the house is very comfortable and roomy. Easy charming walk to town and the beach. Beautiful charming area and Luis was a fabulous host, amazingly quick to respond and helpful with recommendations, etc. Great snorkeling at the north end of the beach near the house. Howler monkeys and all kinds of birds provided lots of entertainment. Loved the pool. Safe and comfy and very clean. I am 5 feet tall and the kitchen and bathroom counters are high, built for taller people, but this did not distract from my enjoyment of the property. Highly recommend.

Luis was very friendly and responsive. The yard is nice and big and the pool is deep and fun for the kids. The location is great - we didn't walk to the beach but it is a short drive with a lot of parking. Had howler monkeys, iguanas, and hummingbirds in the yard which was great. The yard and house could use some TLC vs. what was pictured. The doors to the house didn't quite seal so we had insects in the house, more than we'd expect, so that was not ideal. Other than that, the house was very clean. The yard could use some maintenance, especially compared to the pictures that we were expecting.

Location, location, location and very clean

Our family enjoyed ourselves at this beautiful property. Not only is it located in a great location, but the pool is a big hit for our daughter and friends. The ocean is a 7 minute walk to one of the most beautiful beaches in all of Costa Rica. All in all, we love it here. Also a big thanks to our host, Luis, for checking in on us to make sure our stay in his house is comfortable and relaxing.
