We stayed at Hotel Casablanca for three nights. The hotel has wonderful daily employees, very helpful however very little follow through. The hotel was nice enough, although not what we expected for the high price. The “superior room with an ocean view” was very small. The view was of the construction of the hotel, however you could only see the ocean if you look to your right. This was not disclosed. The sliding door to the balcony did not lock, there was no hot water and the bedside lamps did not work. We asked for help on day one and day two, to no avail. On the day we checked out, we expressed our concerns again for any compensation or resolution to these issues. The maintenance crew and a housekeeping manager came to the room to tend to our complaints. They finagled with the lock and left the water in the shower running for at least 5-10 minutes and got the temperature slightly warmer, but definitely not hot. When this was brought to the attention of the administrator, she stated that there was nothing she could do since her employees told her that everything worked. She completely disregarded our experience at the hotel, with shrugging her shoulders and dismissing us. This type of customer service is absolutely ridiculous for such an expensive rate, truly unacceptable. . We have family on the island and throughout Colombia. We will be returning, however if this is how you treat your customers, we will definitely find a better place to stay.

Hotel not organized at all
Check took over 45 mins. Hotel under construction from 7am to 5pm everyday. Hot water some days. Late check out will cost you $33.00... hotel could be nice but maybe in a few years when finished. Location great and breakfast great.
