The Charming Retreat will exceed all your expectations in our newly renovated two bedroom, one bath home located in Central San Antonio, minutes away from many fine restaurants, the airport and prompt freeway access for a ten-to-fifteen minute drive to beautiful downtown San Antonio, the Riverwalk, La Cantera Shopping Center, Fiesta Texas, SeaWorld, the Alamo and other tourists attractions.
Our entire single-story home is offered as completely private and is not shared with anyone. Currently, we are in the process of selling the property, and as a result, there may be rare occasions when we request to have a showing at the property, as per the owner's and realtor's request. It's important to note that any property viewings will be conducted professionally, focusing solely on the structure of the home. House was OK, old and very loud. Never again will use. They were scheduling house showings, knowing full well they had VRBO guests. And you have the audacity to get mad when I wouldnt allow them in. PISS POOR

Nice area to arrive and hangout with family. Only bad thing is back yard right next to highway. Hosts are awesome at returning calls and or messages in a timely manner.

The house was found as advertised. It is not in the best area. The floors could’ve been a little cleaner. Two strangers attempted to enter the house, non-English-speaking, when my dad was home alone. Overall it was a good Vrbo stay. Just keep your doors locked. The contact person for the rental was very responsive.

Short Sweet Celebration
Was a great opportunity to bring our young Airman into a home where he could finally nap for an afternoon, and eat a home cooked meal. We were close to HEB, as long as we had a car. Could have used more towels. Great trip overall.

Perfect Location
I grew up in this neighborhood so the location was perfect. Close to the highways. There’s a coffee truck just down the street called Just the Drip. There’s so much yard space with privacy fence on both sides. I loved our stay here.

Pictures are misleading
Although it was visibly clean, this property could really use a deep clean. Specifically there are cobwebs and dust in all window sills, the dining table, and counters were all sticky. The sheets in the masterbedroom were dirty with hair, dirt, hair and the pillowcases were stained. The headboard is not attached to the bed, and made it very difficult when turning over at night, or getting out of bed, as the headboard would bang against the wall and make loud noises. The bathroom was the worst part of it all. The shower curtian was slimy and disgusting, there are cracked tiles, and the caulking is cracked as well. The soap holder and rods in the shower are corroded and rusting, could not safely use, and the worst part of it all is that the bathtub was draining slowly, making it so I was standing in my own filth as I showered.
