Fix the clicker, I'm Old...but otherwise great
Clean, nice, friendly, inexpensive. Not a 5 star Paris hotel, but just fine. Felt safe. Do wish the large TV was easier to understand. Could not find over the air channels.

I am extremely disappointed with the bad service of the front desk guy on this location. He was really rude and unrespecful. I am not sure about what’s going on out there but doesn’t matter if you invest money on hotel repairs. Customer service should be the priority 1. You should hire competent people.

Avoid at all costs!
Check their Google reviews for a more realistic evaluation of the hole's status. Some how the hotels.com reviews are unjustly high for the state of the hotel. The hotel is situated in a shabby area, adjacent to a large cemetery. Numerous homeless individuals were present nearby, contributing to a very unsafe atmosphere. We made our booking around noon and arrived in the evening. Upon receiving our keycards, we entered our ground-floor room, which faced the street without any fencing, and immediately returned to the front office, stating our refusal to stay due to the lack of safety and excessive noise. The room had no sound isolation whatsoever; every noise from the street was audible. I was provided with the manager’s contact information. In our phone conversation, he informed me they would charge for two nights despite our brief visit. Simply walking in and out cost me $300! There are far better options available, even on busy days like game nights.

Nice Overnight Stay
Just what we were looking for, comfortable, simple, clean. Nearby overnight stay to attend bowl game. Really like the friendliness of a family owned business. That being said, the new refurbished rooms are nice, beds are comfy, however there are small signs that attention to regular maintenance needs to be a priority or the freshness might soon wear off.

This isn’t in the best area of San Antonio, but the parking at the hotel and cleanliness of the rooms are great. Good staff as well.
