Amazing Beach House with great ocean view!

You are going to love this ground-floor unit that sits just one house back from the ocean with a spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean waves from the large private deck and the gourmet Kitchen. The home has 2 large bedrooms each with its own full bathroom. The gourmet kitchen has a new stainless steel viking stove/oven, stainless steel dish washer, stainless steel refrigerator, and spacious granite counter tops. Your family will feel right at home in the cozy living room complete with a marble surface fireplace, brand new sectional sofa, and mounted 65 inch television. Two recently remodeled bathrooms both with a soothing smooth rock shower floor. The master has a queen-sized bed with a high end plush mattress and a full sized futon for extra sleeping accommodations. The second bedroom also has a queen-sized bed with a high end plush mattress. Check the weather and surf report using the free wireless high speed internet before venturing outside. There is a tandem parking spot for 1 large or 2 small cars directly in front of the deck and strictly reserved for this home. Full sized washer and dryer are stacked inside a closet within the home. We also have a mini split air conditioning system that is available upon request. We offer everything you need to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. There are extra sheets , blankets, and pillows in case they are needed. The front patio is the best part of the home with a gas grill / bbq and a table waiting for you to sit down and take in the views. The property is located close to everything right in between pacific beach and mission beach. There are great restaurants, bars, shopping, and super markets all within walking distance.

The home is approximately 1000 square feet not counting any outdoor space & you can easily sleep 6-8 people. We also own an adjacent 2 bed 2 bath property (VRBO #879846) that can also be rented in conjunction with this home. It is by far one of the best locations in Pacific Beach or Mission Beach. Short drive to multiple Golf Course, Sea World, Shopping Malls, Balboa Park, Airport, Downtown, Old Town , Little Italy, and many other great Sand Diego attractions.

The host was responsive but the place was not in the condition we expected. It was dusty, the refrigerator looked like a light show when we opened it up, could not get the TV to work, could not shut one of the blinds in the kitchen because it was so dirty, etc. Because the host was really responsive and worked with us to cancel the reservation I will not add any more detail. I have to believe a lot of this could have been overcome if the host new about these things before we arrived. As stated he did respond promptly to my messages and phone calls.

Phenomenal location

Great spot for whatever you want to do in the San Diego area. Close to everything
.golf courses, zoo, beach, shopping, and etc. Could sit on the deck and see the ocean. Would stay there again if we come back to California.

Great Location

We had a great stay. The location was perfect as it was literally steps from the beach. Our family enjoyed being able to walk back and forth to the beach and not carrying too many things at once. The view from the kitchen window was great. There are some areas that need improvement but to be honest they're super small things that I am sure the owners already are aware of so I will not mention here. We would book again. Thanks for sharing your little piece of paradise with my family.

First time on Mission Beach

The property was pretty much as described. The positives. Close easy access to beach. Good parking with the rental for one large vehicle. Rental was open and roomy Good comfortable bed and bedding. The disappointments The door lock was poor. Could not depend on it. Owner even stated that code was not working well, so use key o outer door. However, the door latch (not dead bolt lock for key) was not working properly. Hanging up and could not open door with working with to release. Very concerning moments in getting back into unit. Owner not very responsive other than written reply that it should not be an issue. Seems that good simple working locks should not be an issue for VRBO rental?? I have not had an issue before. Could not get the oven to work and ice maker is evidently intentionally turned off??? No ice, had to buy ice. No extras in kitchen, no condiments not even salt/pepper, foil wrap, dish soap ,etc. There were 2 rolls of paper towels. Only one wash cloth in each bathroom for 4 people??? No bedside lamps for night reading or extra lamps. Just ceiling lights Front step was broken on deck and nearly took twisted my foot or fell a couple times. This needs to be fixed!!! It could use a deep cleaning, windows looked horrible.

The house was cute amd clean. There was no where to hang out on the porch because the table was old and uncomfortable. Didn't help to see what the neighbors set up was so good with couches, fire pit. the couch was very dirty. We covered it with sheets before we sat down. The beds were comfy.

We loved this property! The location was the best location we’ve stayed at- seriously just a park and stay! Walking distance to the beach, the bay, restaurants, you name it- you were there! The parking spot was the icing on the cake. We will be back!! The place could use a deep cleaning, but the location was so great we barely noticed.

the location is awesome! The house is a little worn. Several light bulbs were burned out, closet, vanity, bathroom. For the fee charged for cleaning....it could've been much better! It would've been nice to have more cookware and plastic cups. And there were no coffee filters! We had to make another trip back to the store for them. Overall we enjoyed the stay.

This place was a great hub for us as we visited lots of places in the area. It was so close to the beach which was awesome when you had an hour to kill. Our 4 year old loved the beach and being able to walk there in less than a minute. We didn’t spend much time in the house but it worked great as a place to stay!

We enjoy staying in the area so ultimately that’s why we stayed here. Had everything we needed to hit the beach and cook meals there. House does need a tune up here and there. Easily overlooked due to the location and access to the beach.
