Best Hideaway!
Stayed the weekend, wished we had longer. This location is everything! On the sand (not the ocean side), so it's just a 2 minute walk to watch the sunset. You wake up to a gorgeous sunrise that you can watch in bed! At night, sit on the patio in the hot tub, or people watch with the firepit on. So many great restaurants nearby, you can walk or drive. Did one night in downtown SD, only a 15 minute drive. Loved it! The neighbors were gone, so we had the whole patio and garage to ourselves. Perfection. We'll be back again! (Bring your own coffee grounds) ☕️ 👌

Beautifully finished, perfect location.
My family of four had a great time in this unit. It’s right on the bay, you can walk right out and have your toes in the sand. You can also see fireworks display every night at SeaWorld. The beach is a very short 2 minute walk away. It’s beautifully finished, and has extra blankets, towels, etc. Our contact was also very helpful and responsive. We left something behind and they promptly retrieved it for us. I would definitely stay again. I will miss that view!

Quiet and relaxing!
Great location close to the beach, restaurants and Belmont Park! Cozy accommodations but has everything you need! Hot tub was clean! Fire pit was AWESOME! Neighbors were there but not a problem at all! Thanks for the stay!

I’ve emailed the property manager and VRBO about this and have not gotten a response back. Our trip was 2 weeks ago. As I stated in that email, there was nothing wrong with the unit itself, it was updated and clean. We had a hard time getting in with the code we were given, we had to call our contact in order to get in. Online it states there may be other guests staying in the unit. What isn’t mentioned is that there are permanent residents and that your unit in particular, takes up the majority of the patio. There were goggles, snorkels, kids toys all over the patio. No black our curtain for any privacy if people were on the patio, they could stare directly in the unit and the bed is right there. This trip was for our honeymoon and we were very disappointed in the misleading property ad. We ended up not staying any of the nights we were going to & got a room at a near by hotel. I knew with such late notice I wouldn’t be getting a refund, but spending more at a hotel was more comforting than staying at this property. I was not going to write a review, but from the lack of communication from previous emails I have sent, this seemed to be the best way to get our experience across.

Do not rent
The location is perfect but that’s about all that is desirable about this property. The parking isn’t clear. It states “adjacent” but doesn’t specify specifically where exactly. When we entered the property the floor was a bit sandy and stuffy didn’t smell very fresh. The patio was also unkept and not inviting. The quiet time listed in the welcome binder states 9pm and on the wall states 10pm. The note on the wall also states to be courteous of the property’s permanent tenants. However the individual’s who occupy the property above the unit proceeded to have a loud party until early hours of the morning 5am-6am. Loud voices, music and footsteps could not even be drowned out by turning the volume up on the television. The tenants became aware of us the next morning, however the party continued the next evening. Also the hot tub also could be better kept. I did reach out to property management and have not heard back from them. This was a very disappointing stay as the property seemed so promising at booking. Stay clear. Rent some place else.

Location Location Location
The location of the property is awesome. We had a great time. Access to everything from here was awesome!! The only knock on this would be privacy for sleeping. We had very noisy upstairs neighbors that started partying at 1030 every night on the shared patio. Which happens to be 6 ft from your bed and the blinds aren’t blackout. Not that big of an issue for us but we just went and slept on our boat which was much more peaceful. Other than that it was an awesome holiday weekend for us!!
