Terrible customer service. It was like pulling teeth to get ANY towels. They never cleaned the room in three days we stayed there even though they said they would. So they started us off without enough towels for the number of people in the room, then never replaced any towels. We spent over thirty mins on the phone on hold and with the front desk asking for towels only for two hours to pass without getting any. Going in person didn’t help. The worst customer service I’ve ever experienced at a hotel. Also, the breakfast was unappetizing, beds uncomfortable, pool small and over crowded, etc. I would not stay here again.

Had a great stay for Spring Break. Rooms are nice, clean, modern and spacious. Nice, hot breakfast. Evening "social" includes beer and wine. Will definitely return here if ever visiting the San Diego area again.

We had a small problem with check. Other than that, staff was very helpful and polite. amenities were good except for ice machines and charging way too much for laundry. Not to mention too much chlorine in jacuzzi, it bleached my swimsuit.

Overall a great stay. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location was convenient, and everything went smoothly. Would definitely stay here again!

The hotel is lovely...updated, modern, spacious and clean. Check in was not pleasant. We arrived at about 2:00pm to just see if a room might be ready. It wasn't. No problem, we dropped our bags and continued on with our day. When we returned at 5:30, we were told the room was STILL not ready, but that they would happily "upgrade" us at no charge to a two queen room instead of the King Suite we had booked and paid for. ????? I asked to see a manager, waited several minutes, he came out, looked at the computer and said, "Well we can give them the King Suite on the 5th floor", and that's what they did. Why the bait and switch tactic in the first place? And WHY was our damn room not ready at 5:30 in the evening?? Bad enough that hotels keep making check in later (4:00 pm for this hotel), and check out earlier, but seriously, they should have enough housekeeping staff to turn the rooms over in time. Also, why tell us there was no room for us when clearly there was? Very unpleasant check in experience in an otherwise nice stay. Lame.
