- San Diego Airport flight path runs over South Mission Bay. Airplane noise may be heard; however, departing flights are not permitted between 11:30pm-6:30am.
- This home is monitored by exterior surveillance cameras and interior noise monitoring devices.
- Beach chairs and a beach umbrella are also provided for your use.
- You must be at least 30 years old to rent this home. If all guests are adults, all guests must be over the age of 30, excluding families.

Neighborhood Notes:
Mission Beach is San Diego's lively take on the classic boardwalk beach town with over five miles of waterfront boardwalk, trendy shops, restaurants, and Belmont Park, a beachfront amusement park featuring the historic Giant Dipper Roller Coaster, originally built in 1925 but since restored, miniature golf, bumper cars, rock climbing, and an arcade. Mission Beach is just a few minutes to Sea World, 15-20 minutes to The San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park, San Diego International Airport (SAN), and downtown San Diego.

This rental is located in a high-density neighborhood with strict house rules and is only suitable for quieter groups. No tolerance policy exists for excessive noise, occupancy, parties, smoking, or pets. Failure to abide by these policies may lead to immediate eviction without refund. Don't forget to report any damages, issues, or upgrade suggestions—we truly value your feedback! Check-out is at 10:00 AM, unless a late check-out was pre-approved. We loved this oceanfront home. It was cozy but definitely enough room for the 6 of us ages 12-70. Beds were comfy, kitchen well stocked. It got a little chilly but keeping the gas fireplace on warmed things right up. Mostly, you can't beat the location right by the ocean, boardwalk and volleyball courts.

The home is gorgeous. The glass doors open for an unobstructed view of the ocean; sitting on the couch with the fireplace on,listening to the waves was an unforgettable experience. Fabulous Beach house

Our family has been doing Thanksgiving in MB year's we did this mainly to bring all the family together for my Dad he unfortunately passed last month but we had a blast in this beautiful place it had everything we needed and more the staff at Drift is very friendly and accommodating. Stunning views and minutes from everything!

Excellent property, everything exceeded expectations. Views of the beach and Pacific sunsets that can't be beat. Most of downtown tourist areas within a 15 min ride. Neighborhood is beautiful and safe. Walked over 3 miles home from Pacific beach one afternoon and never once felt uncomfortable . Perfect for a group with some that want to be busy, and others that want to hang out and relax.

We loved this property, the view is breathtaking. Conveniently located. We were impressed with the amenities, we had everything we needed for our stay. Best time in Mission Beach!

I visit Mission Beach, California a couple times a year and always stay in the homes between the beach and the bay. This year we had a late reservation and Drift Vacation Homes helped us find the perfect home. We stayed right on the boardwalk with a phenomenal view of the beach and the sunset each evening. Drift was prompt with every single request and communication. The house was very clean and the booking and departure process was extremely easy. This is my new go to for vacation homes every year.

Almost perfect

This residence was our favorite mission beach rental as we have rented for a week every summer the last 9 years. The only thing from a perfect 10 was the garage really would only fit a mini cooper or car that size. Parking was not ideal. Location, deck, kitchen and cleanliness were great.

Best Vacation EVER!!!

What a great place to stay! Everything you could think of was provided! Full kitchen with every utensil you could ever need! Beach Chairs, Boogie boards, sand toys, etc. They even had an extra monitor and work station for my sister to work remotely. Having 3 bedrooms with 3 bathrooms gave our whole family comfort and privacy! And on the day it rained - we were able to sit in the living room and watch the waves from the huge sliding doors! Highly recommend!

Best house ever!

We loooooved our stay! We already booked next summer! This was by far the best rental we have had on Mission Beach. The house is very clean and comes with everything you need. It’s very close walk to Belmont park and just enough away that you can sleep at night. No loud music or parties in this section. We loved hanging in the living room opening up the front glass doors with the crisp ocean air! There are beach chairs, an umbrella, boogie boards and sand toys in the garage. The garage is tight but our compact rental car fit! Everyone pile out before you park it! There are a few markets near by too which helped when we needed something here or there. You will love it here! Communication was prompt and helpful! We loved our stay!

Garage is a problem

There are many positives but the biggest drawback is the garage. Based on the listing description, we rented a Kia Soul (smallest compact offered at Avis) and the car BARELY fit. We certainly couldn’t open any doors once inside the garage - the driver had to enter and exit the car from the trunk each day! So this house is great if you won’t have a car or are OK looking for street parking/lot parking all the time. It really impacted our stay as we used our car a lot and we would have stayed elsewhere if we had known.

Oceanfront relavation

We loved having coffee every morning from the very large oceanfront patio. There's enough action this South in Mission beach to people watch and be in the mix, yet quiet enough to feel like you're not in a tourist zone, plus it's much easier to find street parking this far down. The location is still an easy bike ride or walk to Belmont Park and beyond. The bathrooms and kitchen were all very nicely remodeled. We were there in August, so the bedrooms were a little warm as they do not get the ocean breeze, but there are fans in all bedrooms to keep the air moving. You spend most of your time on the front patio or living room which has a wall of doors that easily slides all the way open for that indoor/outdoor combo and gets plenty of ocean breeze. The garage is very narrow and could probably fit a small car only. Owners were upstairs, but we had complete privacy and were only there when we requested extra beach chairs which they graciously offered from their garage. The house does come with a few beach chairs and sand toys and beach towels.
