Renter beware!
The property was not as advertised! It was very musty and moldy smelling and did not seem environmentally safe. The unit had buckled floors throughout, and a leaking 2nd bathroom shower. We advised the owner of the same, and also that it did not appear to have been cleaned. There were dishes in the dishwasher, footprints throughout the unit, dirty dishes in the cabinets and misc items (cane, dog bed, old food stuff) in the closets and cabinets. There were a couple of very old towels stuffed in a closet but no linens of any kind in either bathroom. The owner dropped off towels purchased from Target, as if we were to wash towels the first day of our stay for use! The wifi was not working and we discovered it had been reset to the network and passcode labeled on the device but was not what the owner provided. In summary the place was a disaster! The overwhelming musty smell was the deciding factor. After sitting in the unit for approximately 45 minutes we did not feel safe sleeping in the unit even one night. We advised the owner of the numerous problems, and rented two additional hotel rooms at our expense for the week. In summary, the unit is not as shown in the pictures. It is in need of some major repairs and remediation to address the musty smell, buckled floors, and leaking shower. As a VRBO renter, we believe one has a right to expect a safe, clean, vacation ready property, and this is NOT what we received.
