Updated Beach Condo with Air Conditioner--Steps to Sand- Sleeps 6

Situated in South Mission Beach, one block from the ocean and overlooking the bay!

This two bedroom condo is beautifully furnished with just steps to the Beach, Bay and Entertainment.

AC has become more of a must have feature on San Diego beaches during the warm months. We have added a portable AC to each of our bedrooms to keep up with our past guests' suggestions. Not having AC means that you have to sleep with your window open and this makes you more susceptible to noise (every place in Mission Beach is susceptible to noise problems regardless of what other owners tell you). Now our guests have the option of sleeping with the windows closed!


Upgraded bathrooms and open kitchen with top of the line designer stainless steel appliances.

All dishes, utensils, pots, and pans are provided for you.

Family entertainment is within walking distance. Park your car in your reserved dedicated spot and leave it! You can stroll (5 min walk) to Belmont Park, ride the Roller Coaster, buy some cotton candy and play carnival/arcade games. Bring your kids with their friends because this condo sleeps six.

The living room is equipped with a 50' Sony flat screen, cable (DVR/HD), sofa and a large chaise, in which both convert to beds (queen and twin).

In each bedroom, there is a queen bed, and 40' Sony flat screen.

The Master Bedroom has a unique designer Star Gazer ceiling complete with ceiling fan.

The Master Bath is equipped with a Jacuzzi bathtub with his and her shower heads.

Sit & relax at the cocktail table on the nice quiet balcony!
The Balcony has a view of the Bay and features a Cocktail Table that is perfect for your morning coffee or those relaxing evening drinks.

Wonderful place to stay. The hosts ensured everything was stocked and ready for our extended stay. The unit was extremely clean and very comfortable. Walking distance to Bellmont, coffee shops, restaurants, and of course the beach. It's rare to find such a nice place on Mission Beach. We hope to stay again in the future!

First some constructive criticism
. The fry pans in the kitchen have been burnt so many times that they are not safe and there were not enough cups and glasses. Also the pics show a work out center and swimming pool
. They are part of a workout center nearby that costs 100/person/week. The bedrooms are large so king size beds would be great!We really liked the location as we could easily walk to the ocean and there are also restaurants and a market within walking distance. The assigned parking spot was just outside the door and the unit was quiet. We enjoyed the outdoor space.The host was absolutely great!

Host was awesome, full red carpet support. However we feel the unit is in bad repair and needs TLC to be considered outstanding as the reviews currently reflect. In the master bath 2 of 3 bulbs were out also the kitchen bar overhead light is out, the oven was dirty, the tv remote batteries were leaking and need to be replaced.The jetted tub is broken and missing a control knob so kind of gross and the grout around both toilets was in bad shape. Last we specifically shopped for AC however the unit had none and the building must have its own heating system as no controls are in the unit so it was warm for us a night time (70's) we had to leave windows open and fans running all night as we are used to sleeping in the 60's. On the upside great location, good furnishings and decorative pieces and the BBQ grill was excellent.

Great communication with the host, he greeted us at check in. Clean, well-stocked, as advertised. Pictures are accurate. Plenty of space for our family of 5. Perfectly situated in Mission Bay, about 100 yards from the beach. Local coffee shops and restaurants are within easy walking distance. We look forward to a future stay.

Fantastic location

The location was perfect, with the beach a few a steps away and close to all the major attractions. It made exploring the city so convenient. The condo was clean and spacious with a fully equipped kitchen. Lorne was an outstanding host, always quick to respond and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. We cannot recommend Lorne and his property highly enough.

Great place. Easy to get to. Parking is excellent. Plenty of options for dining nearby. Beach and Belmont Park are so close. Don’t need to move a vehicle if you don’t want to. But if you do need to you don’t have to travel far for necessities. Highly recommend.

Fantastic property! Great location!

This condo was fantastic to stay in. There's a nice balcony with a table and chairs where we ate breakfast some mornings. The futon and chaise are comfortable (the cushions look like they've been changed since the photos were taken). Not pictured is the jetted tub in the master bathroom. Keep in mind, it's only big enough for a single person. The dual showerheads are great. All the tools you need to cook are there, just bring your ingredients. If you're a coffee fanatic, you're triple-covered. There's a Keurig, 5-cup brewer, AND a French press. The real piece de resistance is the master bedroom. There's tiki hut grass with adjustable starlights on the ceiling. We're going to have to figure out how to do that at our house, because that was wayyyy stunning and romantic to look up at during the night. The property details and pictures show a ceiling fan in the master bedroom, but that is gone now. Currently there's a standup fan and a window AC unit in each bedroom. The weather was so nice, the fans were all you needed to keep cool. We didn't even touch the AC during our stay in late September. Nearby attractions are Mission Beach, Mission Bay, and Belmont Park which are all walking distances from the condo. Lorne and his wife were super responsive and usually got back to us in minutes. Maybe the longest we had to wait for an answer was an hour. We'll definitely be coming back!

This place was a great base for our week in SD. The location is amazing and we appreciated having a dedicated parking spot. There were lots of nice touches like beach gear (cart, chairs, boogie boards, sand toys, towels) and even some small coolers. The condo did feel a little run down. The master bath had several lights burned out and the jacuzzi tub jets appeared to have mold in them. Overall we had a good stay and feel like the value was fair.

Summer Break

Stayed here for a week. The condo is in an excellent location. Very clean and much roomier than I was expecting. It was a very close walk to both the ocean and the bay. My wife and I took 4 to 5 mile walks along the boardwalk along the ocean beach most days. Several restaurants within a 10 minute walk and quite a few more when we walked the boardwalk to Pacific Beach. The condo building was very quiet, never heard neighbors and only saw 2 or 3 others the entire week when going in our out. I would certainly stay here again in the future. It was a quick drive downtown to Seaport Village where we could park. We enjoyed a Padres game, Midway aircraft carrier museum and a harbor cruise all within walking distance from the Seaport Village parking area. Enjoyed watching the fireworks every night that I believe were from Seaworld, you could watch them from the condo balcony or a quick 2 or 3 minute walk out to the bay beach.

Perfect Mission Beach Stay!

Great location, close to restaurants, convenience store, and far enough away from boardwalk that it is quiet and safe at night. We absolutely loved our stay and will be back for sure!
