This is a bait and switch. At check-in front desk said no reservation existed. I showed prepaid confirmation. Oh, hotels.com is third party. We don’t have rooms available. We will relocate you to another Wyndham. Sent to dingy old hotel that had musty odor, a/c in window, bathroom door when opened blocked hall. Never would have booked property. Delayed my getting into room after long work day by one hour. Met other outraged guests in same “relocation” dilemma. Employees told me this has been going on for years. Do not book here.

We unfortunately didn’t have the best experience. When we checked in, the front desk lady said our room number out loud when there was a girl right behind us which made us feel uncomfortable and unsafe. We had people knocking at our door in the middle of the night thinking it was their room and then again at 7am. Then we had the front desk calling us asking what name our reservation was under because they had mixed up reservations and they had us under another name. They also put us in an accessible room which we had not booked and we never got our room cleaned the entire time we were there. The front desk would never acknowledge us or even say hello either. I’ve worked in hospitality for years and know how things should be ran and this was a very disappointing experience unfortunately.

This hotel and staff were great. Our room was like an apartment with everything we needed for a week stay. One of the best places we've ever stayed. Everything was very clean and well taken care of. Staff were amazing. If you need something, or have any questions about anything, just ask. They go out of their way to help. Our room had plates, cutlery, bowls, etc. for when we didn't feel like going out to dinner or wanted to make a lunch for the next day. There's a Trader Joe's a couple of blocks away and a couple other small grocery stores closer. They do not do daily housekeeping, but it's more like an apartment so I can totally understand. It would be a lot to clean each unit every day. I can't imagine wanting to stay anywhere else while in town. The local area is right downtown, but we didn't have any issues. Buss stops we needed were all within a few block walk.

Had a very late check-in as we arrived from the east coast on a late flight, we were welcomed with a smile, accommodated at once and given recommendations on things to do. It’s worth mentioning the beautiful lobby gives you a sense of really wanting to be there specially after a long flight. We didn’t get a chance to get the name of the lady at the front desk, it was midnight by the time we arrived, she was phenomenal! The room it’s a small apartment, functional little kitchen with a dining table and living room, spacious bathroom and a nice bright room with a very comfortable bed. It was our first time in San Francisco and the hotel location was just perfect, conveniently located, easy access to everything, restaurants around the area, walking distance to Union Square.

Liked how helpful the staff was. Bed and sheets soft and comfortable. Kitchen useful especially when you cannot eat outside food or delivery due to food allergies. Quiet and comfortable rooms with connection. Bed room is separate with door. Bathroom is off the living room where there is a pull out couch. Could improve on parking options. We are mobility challenged and parking a block or two away isn’t feasible without an able bodied person who can park and travel on foot back to hotel.

I rarely give 5 stars for my experience but I have no real reason not to. I really like their texting communication system, they text before your arrival and during stay and you can text them any time asking questions and they respond back in timely manner. I requested for very quiet room and far from elevators and requested late check out. The room was located perfectly, it was at the end of the hallway, away from elevators and not on a laundry room floor. The laundry rooms are on Odd number floors like 7,9 etc, I was on 8th floor. It was great that they offer laundry washer dryer for free and you can use any time of day. The front desk person even asked if I needed detergent. I had a kitchen with microwave, minifrig/freezer, dishwasher. Bed was in a room so area was spacious. Bed was comfy. The bathroom is ok and shower had nice flowing water. TV had regular cable channels. Heat/AC worked fine. WiFi was good. The front desk people were friendly, every time I asked for toilet paper they provided it. I was allotted 1 housekeeping session for the 8 nights I was staying. Some people would not like that as they prefer housekeeping everyday but I was ok with it. I wish there was better lighting for putting on my makeup but it was ok. I read reviews on them trying to sell you timeshare and taking up your time, I got 1 call from a man downstairs saying he was concierge and I just told him I was busy and hung up. I think he was going to pitch me timeshare, but he did not try again.
