Staff was super friendly and the facility was pretty good, plus it was very close to where I needed to be. The bad was the other guest; they were loud and obnoxious, kids sreaming and adults arguing.

I was worried when I read the reviews for this hotel, but I wanted something inexpensive so I went ahead and booked. I was very surprised how nice it was. I'm not sure if I got lucky or what, but I don't understand all the bad reviews. The room smelled okay, it was very clean, plenty of amenities, the bed was very comfortable. Overall, an excellent experience, especially for the price. I didn't try the breakfast, but I heard it was very small. At any rate, I would certainly return.

My main disappointment was that there was no hair dryer available. The front desk explained that if there was no hair dryer in the room then to call the front desk to get one. When I called the front desk they said they might have some in the supply closet but only the maintenance person and the manager had the key and neither of them were on site until the next morning at 7 am. Unfortunately I had to check out by 6:30 am to get to work. I know it's a small thing but I think every room should have a hair dryer or all staff should have a key to the supply room so that your guests can enjoy a nice shower and dry hair. I probably won't stay at another Extended Stay America until I can be guaranteed that each room is provided with basic items to provide a comfortable stay.

Ick

Checked in late, so only given key by night staff. Not "registered" so no wifi access. Toilet still full of cleaner, flecks of fecal matter on the seat. Trash not emptied from last guest, carton of milk from who knows when in the fridge. Complained to manager on check out and was basically told too bad which caused me to lose my cool and curse him out. Told to leave without my receipt because he didn't want to be cursed at about his lousy hotel. Do yourself a favor and stay someplace else.

Reasonably priced but needs a lot of improvement

Pros: The Front Office desk staff was courteous and welcoming. The hotel is quiet, conveniently located close to a local super market and gas station.
Cons: Carpets need cleaning, bathroom sinks need to be cleaned off all the grout and disinfected. Bathroom sink coated with grout
I had booked 2 separate rooms at this hotel, but sadly neither met even a 3-star rating. My room had a window that would not close, the bathroom wash basin took forever to drain; Not only was it difficult but also unhygienic to wash without coming into contact with the grout. Apparently there was a software problem with the phones as I was unable to contact my guests in their room using the intercom. The Front Desk gave me a 4-digit extension that was completely different from the 3-digit room number, and that too did not work. Eventually they agreed to swap us over to another room. The other room was a little better but had a different problem - the refrigerator made such a loud rattling noise, that we had to switch it off to get some sleep.

met expectations

My key priority was proximity to my relative's house, and this hotel was easy to navigate to. It is right off of Santa Teresa. The desk staff was friendly and helped me to save a little money. They charge for maid service, but I don't like someone messing with my stuff so that was okay to me. I'm not picky--everything seemed clean, quiet and secure.

Never Again.

You get what you pay for here. When I got to the room, it was filthy. Trash wasn't taken out, "clean" towels had hairs in them, counters were not cleaned, there was fungus on the walls, room smelled aweful, the walls were paper thin and didn't get a good night's sleep the whole week. And to top it off, since I only stayed 5 days, no one cleaned my room the entire time. Only after 7 days they will clean your room or you can pay extra for them to clean earlier. Needless to say, I will steer clear of this chain in the future.

Checked In And Checked Out

Avoid at all costs. We were 3 business travelers with non smoking reseravtions. Only had 1 non smoking room and told us we were ""only guaranteed a bed"". Filthy rooms, hallways, bags of garbage by elevators. No maid service. Dogs in the hallways. Strong food/chemical odors in hallways. Really disgusting.
