Our stay at Villa Margarita was beyond fantastic. Rooms were clean, staff was very accommodating, grounds were beautiful. Margarita went out of her way to make sure that you always felt at home and had whatever you needed. Very relaxing stay. Just what we wanted.

Breakfast lovely and fresh, location perfect for after arriving before heading to La Fortuna. Host was great super friendly and interesting. Room was a great size with views over the garden with lots of wild birds.

Hilltop outside San Jose center. Quiet and calm, yet less than 30 minutes from airport. Super host, good breakfast, honor system beverages 24/7. Lots of dogs to play with.

Charming place. The grounds are beautiful. The room was large and nicely decorated, with comfortable beds. Breakfast was delicious. There are dogs on the property. Very sweet and friendly dogs, but if you have dog issues be aware.

Villa Margerita is an amazing cozy place to stay. The owner and the staff are super nice and make you feel welcomed. We spent one night in transition from SJO to the Arenal but ai would have spent more days just relaxing in the area. Defintely a 5 star!

This was the perfect place to stay after we landed in CR. We got there at 10:45 pm and we were greeted by our host Margarite and one of her super friendly dogs. We were offered food and beverages which was very kind of her at such a late hour. The room was more than we even needed and we had a great sleep. Breakfast was delicious and we headed out shortly thereafter to catch the Ferry to get to Santas Tresea. Perfect location not too far from the airport but you get out of the hustle and bustle and an easy drive from there to our next destination. Make sure you use Waze for directions. There is no sign at the road for the hotel but once you get down a short lane way you will see it!
