Parking can be a challenge due to popularity of the banquet facilities. Teenagers will have an amazing time. Lots of activities for them to do! Area is nice. Beach is not very large, but accommodating for small groups. Food is good. Guest services nice. Go off the resort to Calle 6.

Dorado Vacation

The room, location and view were great. After the checkin confusion we had a great time. Everyone was nice and helpful. The jacuzzi doesn’t work and the toilet seat drove us crazy but everything else was great. It is an older building and it would take very little to push this nice room into luxury.

I would say that location of the property was very good. Convenient and close to places we wanted to visit. I was a bit disappointed in the property itself … the sofa bed was uncomfortable and falling apart. Linen had stains. There weren’t any niceties to make our stay special.

Not much of a beach to write home about

The property was old and appeared to never been updated. When we checked in there was no power and we had to walk up 7 flights of stairs with our luggage. Not a great start. Beach was mostly rocky and you couldn't walk on beach beyond the beach just in front of the building.

Very dissatisfied..It seems the owner hasn't spend any money in the place for at least 10 years...old furniture...old mattress with old linens...we could not enjoy a nice morning or sunset in the balcony due to small old plastic chairs that my husband and I could not sit comfortably...The AC doesn't work properly..the property manager try to convince me the power is different than the US...The Embassy suites probably was the place to be 20 yrs ago but now the pool area looks run down and the beach area was not kept. No effort to make you feel home away from home..

Do not waste your money. The property is beautiful, but do not rent this room. First off, the picture over looking the pool is not accurate to the room you are renting. You get to look at the parking lot. As we walked in the place just smelled dirty. There was glitter from possibly strippers all over the couch and the bed. There was a dirt stain on the comforter. There were price tag clips on the floor and the shampoo bottle was half gone with shampoo all over it. That was first glance.. keep looking around you will see a broken heater vent with a gaping hole and a few steps away you will see mold on the ceiling. Once we made it to the rest room there was a nice unflushed toilet that just made the room spell delightful. The shower door was caked with soap scum. Crumbs and residue all over kitchen chairs. This was all at 11:30 at night. So we went to the embassy hotel booked a room and emailed this lady in the morning. We got back and email from her frustrated that we didn’t contact her last night, at 11:30pm after being in airports from 4am. For her to “fix the problems” sorry you are going to fix mold in the middle of the night? We asked for a refund and she has gone radio silent. Do your self a favor and pay to stay in the hotel.

Excellent property and suite. Would have been nice to be able to control the temperature. Would have been nice to get check-in instructions ahead of time.. Otherwise, it was a great experience and would do it again.

Beautiful location

This location has everything! Great location, with beach and pool access. We enjoyed coffee every morning on the ocean view balcony. The kitchen was stocked with the essentials (coffee maker, plates, cups, silverware). We saved ourselves some time & had groceries delivered, so we had more time to enjoy the beach. It may be best to rent a car for a stay in this area, as Ubers were tricky to find… but overall we have zero complaints, and would definitely recommend this spot to others (and hope to return ourselves). Easy check in/check out.

nice property in a great location

I would make sure you have a car if you want to travel around because taxis are expensive and Uber really hard to find. Great location overall though. Pool, beach and management were all outstanding.

The room wasn’t as clean as expected and the shower drain was like clogged. The hot tube inside the room works but the hot water only came out for less than half of the fill of the tub. So we couldn’t enjoy a hot tub experience. The AC wasn’t cold enough and couldn’t touch the AC temperature, but at least they had a fan on the closet for us to use during our sleep. But besides those things, the room was great for the price and being next to the embassy suite hotel’s pool and beach. The service was good and the communication with the host was great. Despite the issues wouldn’t mind staying over again.
