Place is horrible and very dirty, people in the front desk are rude. The people above me were too loud and barly got some sleep. Felt very unsafe the door chain had been ripped out. They refuse to refund my money this place is a joke

Room smelled of strong cigarette smoke , when request to move , was denied. Furniture is old, would not ever stay here again.it even felt unsafe .

I was looking for cheap. This worked for me. I would stay there again if again I were traveling alone and didn't care about anything but the cost. It was a place to sleep.

Run down. Guest check in not friendly. After paying with a credit card they asked for a cash deposit for the room. That was not listed before we selecred this hotel.

This motel is disgusting. I should’ve gotten tipped off when they were guys outside of my room smoking and drinking beer. The stairwell and the steps were so gross I couldn’t even touch my hand on the railing. And that wasn’t even the this motel is disgusting. I should’ve gotten tipped off when they were guys outside of my room smoking and drinking beer… Probably the same guys who left an empty beer cans and cigarette butts on the steps outside of my room. The stairwell and the steps were so gross I couldn’t even touch my hand on the railing. And I haven’t even started talking about the room yet. The tables were all sticky and gross and stained. The doors all had crusty sticky splashes of soda as if someone through soda cans on them. The floors were stained with disgusting things. There was no toilet paper holder. The wall behind the bed had a Bizzarre pieces of wood nailed in there as if to patch up some drywall problems. The headboard was so disgusting I almost couldn’t sleep on the bed and I haven’t even started talking about the room yet. The tables were all sticky and gross and stained. The doors all had crusty sticky splashes of soda as if someone threw soda cans on them. The floors were stained with disgusting things. There was no toilet paper holder. The wall behind the bed had bizarre pieces of wood nailed in there as if to patch up some drywall problems. The headboard was so disgusting, I almost couldn’t sleep. But at least the sheets and pillowcases were clean!

Overnight

The room was dirty, i mean the curtains had white stuff on them, the bed was comfortable the bathroom smelled. They have a hair dryer though. I would only stay as a last resort. It's a get what you pay for thing. Also the property looks nothing like the pictures. No sitting area like it shows weeds and dead grass. If it was upgraded and clean it might be better.

Pros: staff was courteous & helpful
Cons: GRASS AREA IN PICTURE. small details in rooms.
hotel looks completely different in picture. grass area was overgrown & not suitable for pets to walk around on due to prickly plants on ground. crack in ceiling over shower grout on bathtub was damaged & there were no screens on the windows. Disappointed in price for value of room.

Budget Inn San Luis Obispo CA

Pros: Price For people on a budget, this property can normally be booked in advance for less than a Motel 6. Typical continental breakfast is provided.
Location: Easy onto Hwy 101 A healthy walk to the downtown shopping area and The Old Catholic Mission. There are fast food locations within 1/2 block.
This was my second 2 day stay at this location. This is an older motel which is under going an upgrade. The management staff is professional and accommodating.
