Jany House, built in 1920 and refurbished in 2013, is the perfect combination of classic, Craftsman-style living, downtown location, renewed beauty, and gracious living. Architecturally interesting and so comfortable, this, three-bedroom, home also provides lots of living space, so you and your friends, or family, can spread out and enjoy. Formal dining room, grand kitchen with a farmhouse sink and granite countertops, wood flooring throughout, charming outdoor spaces, Jany House has it all. Complete the picture with 2 spacious bedrooms each with luxurious king beds. The master has an in-room vanity, the en-suite with walk in shower. The sunny third bedroom features a comfortable queen bed. The hall bathroom features a shower & tub combination. You will find the trellised outdoor sitting area, garden fountain and raised patio invite you outside, as well. BBQ on the grill and sit under the grape vine arbor sipping your wine finds of the day! ***Dogs are only allowed with an additional $25/night per dog fee. The pet fee is not included in the 'initial quote'. Please let us know if you will be bringing a dog(s) during your stay, so we can charge accordingly. ***

Property was very cute. Great location for our Paso Robles girls trip. No coffee at the house for first morning. There is no mirror or closet in the 3rd bedroom, had to hang clothes on hooks. No full length mirror in bathroom. Hairdryer in shared bathroom didn’t work. Not a box of tissue to be found in the house.

This place is absolutely breathtaking! Great location to the center of town, easy acccess to freeway & other areas.Bedding was comfortable and kitchen well equipped. We loved the place so much, we're already planning our next stay there. As long as Jany house is available, this will be our new Paso Robles retreat. 4.5 out of 5 stars

Second time's a charm!

This is our second stay at this lovely property. I've already reviewed after our first stay (see our original review from May 9, 2022), and all still applies. I just love the early 20th century vibe and decor. The location is fantastic, walking distance to downtown, while being just far enough away for neighborhood charm. A big perk is it is right across the street from the Paso Market Walk, which has a number of unique eateries, as well as vendors like gelato, vegan cheeses, bakery, etc. Also there is a Smart and Final just two blocks away. We look forward to our return stay at the Jany Home.

Jany Home - awesome

The Jany home was excellent. What a wonderful and charming place that was vintage and lived up to the pictures. Excellent communication and coordination with the host. Was also surprised that it was just a 10 min walk to downtown. Can't wait to go back to Paso Robles and definitely want to stay here again!

Three comfortable bedrooms Lots of seating -including multiple spaces to hang out for larger group. Central dining space was wonderful for meals. Kitchen had everything you would need o prepare a meal. Walkable to grocery and other cultural amenities. Outdoor space was charming and home is dog friendly. We intended to bring dog but left her at home- dog would have loved this space. Definitely thumbs up and would love to return. It feels like home!!

The house is very comfortable, and the location is great. We visited the Paso Market Walk right across the street many times, and the square is just a half mile walk. It's perfect for 4-5 adults or four adults and two children.

Perfect Get Away Stay

Just love the charm of this house and its sweet patio. Our party of 4 stayed for two nights and loved the house and its location. A quick walk to town and all the restaurants it has to offer, but just far enough from the hustle and bustle of the square that sipping wine on the patio is exceptionally peaceful. I highly recommend staying here and hope to return next year for another stay.

Perfect choice!

What a gorgeous historic home to spend our long awaited weekend in. Everything was as advertised and we were offered early check in if we wished. The home has been so artistically decorated and it was a joy to sit at the kitchen table and watch the hummingbirds zoom by. And the beds were the most comfortable I've had at a VRBO, and that is so important to my husband and myself! We will be back.

The House with many doors

Our stay was enjoyable. The home is very charming. There was only two issues of note. The first was the parking. Street parking only so space not guaranteed (had to park a 1/2 block away a few times). The second was the exposed nail on the hardwood floor. I stepped on it causing some pain, but no skin broken (lucky for me). This really could have been bad.

A Comfortably Wonderful Home in Paso Robles

First, I must commend the property owner. She was very responsive when asked a texted question and has maintained a historically classic home to create a very comfortable residence to occupy while staying in Paso. The home is well appointed, and the kitchen has all the utensils that anyone would need to prepare meals at home. The house is about seven blocks from the town square if you like to walk. Though Via Caravaggio is just around the corner from the house on Spring and makes a great pizza to bring in! Beds were kings and were comfortable and there is one small on-suite bath in one bedroom and the guest bath will be used by the second bedroom. The environmental system (heat and A/C) works great but is quite loud at night. The house has two comfortable patios, one on the side of the house with a BBQ, and one in front of the house. If you are seeking a comfy house in Paso Robles, you cannot go wrong by reserving the Jany Historic Home in Paso Robles!
