The room was filthy and the outside of the hotel was disgusting. The manager was incredibly rude to us and it made me uncomfortable. I will never stay here or recommend this place to anyone.

Clean and quiet. Walking distance to downtown and waterfront shops and restaurants. Arrived after midnight. Electronic door key fob was in a lockbox, they texted me the combo. That made it very convenient, didn't have to bother anyone. Friendly housekeeping, did a great job.

Great little motel.

This motel met my needs perfectly. The bed was comfortable, the maid service was provided daily, and both the water temperature and pressure were consistently good. It had a separate closet, which was a nice feature, though adding a door would have made it even better. The old dressing table was convenient for setting up coffee and storing food. Overall, it was a great little motel for the week!

While this is a basic hotel, I was impressed with the workmanship in the remodeled bathroom. I have not found better workmanship in more expensive hotels. For the price I could not expect more. The cleanliness was exeptional.

Waste of money

The worst place we have ever stayed. The bed was lumpy, we kept rolling to the center. Towels were hard as a rock. No heating, had to use a portable heater. Walls are super thin, could hear people talking/yelling all night, kids screaming & jumping around. Manager on site did nothing about the noise. Cars double parked in the small parking lot. I had to come home and take a nap because I had such a terrible night. Completely ruined my weekend.

We really enjoyed our stay at Morro Crest Inn. The bed was so comfortable and we slept great. It’s a basic room, but it’s perfect especially at that price point. We had a lovely chat with the lady at the front desk who was so sweet. We will definitely come back next time we visit Morro Bay
