We are thrilled to mention that the access road has been upgraded to concrete, making travel smoother and more comfortable than ever. Municipal water service has also been added, enhancing convenience and reliability during your stay.
One of the biggest benefits of travel time to town. What once took approximately 30–45 minutes can now be reached in about 15 minutes, giving you quick access to restaurants, shopping, excursions, and local attractions while still enjoying peace, privacy, and seclusion of our beachfront location.

If you're looking to escape the crowds and experience the quieter side of Ambergris Caye, Seaside Casa is the perfect retreat.
Located on the beautiful southern end of the island, approximately 5œ miles from San Pedro Town, this charming one-bedroom suite is ideal for couples. seeking relaxation, romance, and unforgettable ocean views.

If you are not into all the hustle and bustle and looking for peace and seclusion, Seaside Casa is for you!


We can recommend a licensed guide for fishing, snorkeling, and more... If interested in the boat please inquire for price. We also have double seat kayaks for our guests free of charge.

The Space
The modern kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops.

Guest Access

Just off the outside large covered patio is a half bath for our guests convenience while using the private. The pool has a swim up bar area and a charcoal bbq grill. Guests supply their own charcoal. There is also a beautiful Palapa at the end of the pier. This is a perfect spot for relaxing and enjoying the view, various fish and birds. Our previous guests were lucky and be to see dolphins pass by, If you are an early riser you can bring out your morning coffee and watch some of the fishermen passing by going out to sea to catch their daily fresh fish, to sell to the restaurants for that evening.

We had a fantastic stay here in Belize! The apartment was large, beautifully decorated, and very clean. The bed was super comfortable, and the beach views were incredible. We loved relaxing in the private pool — such a great bonus. The hosts were amazing and made everything easy from start to finish. We’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Belize!

When I decided to book Casa Seaside, I only wanted one thing: peace and boy did I find it! Away from the crowds of San Pedro, Casa Seaside is the perfect place to relax. Joan made everything very easy for us from booking the place to helping us with a golf cart rental to providing recommendations. The pool was just PERFECT! We ended up staying hours in it just taking in the breathtaking ocean views.If you are into birding, you will enjoy the place. Every morning we would go wander around the house and found new birds to photograph. If you are as lucky as us, you will meet Nanuk the brown Pelican who will visit you on your private pier.Overall, I would recommend Casa Seaside to everyone looking for a wonderful place to relax and enjoy life.Thank you Joan for making this a wonderful vacation for us.

We cannot say enough about this place and the hosts. The house is gorgeous and away from the hustle of the city but, still close enough to go into town or a local market. We enjoyed breathtaking sunrises and sunsets from our private dock, had our fridge stocked with all our creature comforts, private pick up from our boat dock for fishing and snorkeling excursions, massages and in house meals prepared, laundry, private pool, etc. All courtesy of our hosts recommendations. We had the best week ever thanks to Joan, Michael, and Katie. Five stars. Would definitely recommend! We can’t wait to go back and visit our hosts we now call friends.

Joan was amazing! She asked ahead of time if we needed anything, organized a grocery service so that we had a few essentials to start our stay with, she suggested Stax pizza on the way “home” to the casa which was excellent and convenient. Joan really went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing time. It felt like we knew someone on the island. Seaside casa felt like our own private paradise. We saw dolphins from the dock every morning around 8am. She organized a spectacular fishing and snorkeling tour. Leji & Carlos cooked us lunch on the beach with the fish we caught. Ho Chan is a must snorkel! Carlos got in the water with us and pointed out things we would not have noticed on our own. Next time I would save up and book this tour twice. Cave tubing on the mainland was also a highlight. The best experience I have ever had during a stay.

Very Relaxing!

We LOVED our stay here! . Beautiful property and Joan and Mike were wonderful hosts! We highly recommend renting the boat for a couple days. It was awesome to have our own private guide to take us around all the different snorkeling and fishing spots.

Perfect Palapa

Seaside Casa Vacation

Our stay at this beautiful house was very relaxing. Joan and Michael were fabulous hosts, and their daughter Katie was just as great. Joan and Katie met us at the airport on our arrival and led us around to see important locations, like good grocery stores and Katie even bought us our first Belikin Beer. We chose their referrals for our golf cart, massages, chef, and boat captain - all exceeded our expectations! We loved our San Pedro experience.

Amazing property and wonderful hosts

This property had everything we needed and wanted. It was secluded from the crowd of tourists that inhabit other properties on the island. It was quiet and had a beautiful ocean view. Wonderful hosts

The house was clean with beautiful views. It is secluded and away from the city. Joan and Katie are great! They set up the golf cart rentals, fishing charters and picking up groceries. All we had to do was get there and then enjoy paradise.

We loved staying at Seaside Casa. The pool right outside the apartment was great and the private pier in the ocean can’t be beat! Joan was great with communication. She arranged for our golf cart and helped us find a fantastic fishing tour where we caught a lot. We will be back.

Great stay!

We had a lovely stay at Joan's place! The kitchen is very well equipped, the bed is comfortable, and it felt very safe and private. The construction, unfortunately, has begun again next door, but it really didn't disturb our stay. We appreciated Joan's suggestions for food and adventures, I would highly recommend taking at least a half-day out on the boat, and at some point, have a great dinner at the Black Orchid. As some have pointed out, if you want to be in the hustle and bustle, or are looking for a party hot-spot, this isn't your place. If you want quiet, privacy, peaceful kayaking and a lovely getaway, this is for you. Thank you, Joan, for a great stay!

Awesome place! Comfortable, clean and set up really nice. It was hard to leave the property (or get out of the pool), to go and enjoy the island. Boat rental is a must, personalized excursion, at your own pace! Convenient to San Pedro for food/shopping, but far enough away to escape the people & noise. Trying to put together some money to go back ASAP! Owners are great and helpful! 5+ Stars!!!!

Honeymoon in Belize

Had an amazing time in Belize thanks to Joane and crew. Location is exactly as advertised and is perfect for secluded peaceful trips. Joane met us off the ferry and was very friendly and helpful in guiding us through the initial orientation. Personally I loved this area and had amazing fishing days off the dock and by boat. I will caution those who are looking for more nightlife and city vibes, the drive too and from town is 30-45 minutes depending on road conditions. This may not suite some people, however if you prefer the off grid adventure, this is your place.

Private secluded vrbo with your own pool!!

Beautiful, private home with very lovely owners! Everything we could need was there, including our own pool; no need to share as at resort stays! We were as far south from san pedro as we could be which was just fine with us. We were able to see rays, and fish right off our dock. I was sad to go and hope to return again. Can't say enough about joan and katie, they helped alot with our planning..and even came to pick us up when i screwed up the arrival. Consider this everyone, you won't be disappointed!

Best Property to Book

This was our first time in Belize celebrating our 20th anniversary. We believe we made the best decision in booking our stay at Seaside Casa. It was very clean, quiet and spacious! Away from all the noise/traffic in town. We had a private pool and dock. My husband was able to fish off the dock and caught a barracuda! Our Host Joan was the best! If we needed anything, she was there to provide. We loved her so much, we've adopted her as our friend, as well as her husband Mike and daughter Katie. We miss you!

Secluded Private Getaway

If your looking for a cozy getaway that is secluded with lots of privacy, this is it. The pictures are a true representation of how lovely this rental is. Private dock, private pool, outdoor kitchen area with BBQ allows you to avoid the crowds and enjoy your time together. Apart from the occasional trip to town for groceries and supplies you never have to leave unless you want to explore the island in your golf cart. It's only a few miles to restaurants and resorts, shops and nightlife. And yes, the golf carts have headlights for night driving. Joan and her family are wonderful sources of information for shopping, sightseeing and tours, boating and fishing.

Loved Seaside Casa!

We loved the peace and quiet! Enjoyed having our morning coffee on the private pier. Our hosts Joan,Michael Katie and Alex were terrific! Joan and Katie were great at communicating. They met us at the airport and helped us arrange our golf cart rental. They also had great recommendations for restaurants, fishing, snorkeling, and massages! Alex took us on a private fishing trip that we really enjoyed. Highly recommend if you want to be away from the action of San Pedro town but close enough if you want to go there. Can’t say enough about how nice the hosts are! They totally gave us complete privacy. We didn’t even know they were there. Great vacation!
