The views were stunning, the pool was awesome. I loved that it was a small hotel with only a few rooms. I would defi itely come back and highly recommend to others
The staff was welcoming. They were helpful with any needs my family had, from directions to local areas to housekeeping needs. Small and cozy place. No rowdy people staying here , just laid back peaceful atmosphere.
We had an excellent experience at this hotel. The pricing was very reasonable, especially with breakfast and free parking included. The highlight for us was the stunning view of the Pacific Ocean â absolutely breathtaking!
The room was clean and well-kept, and we really appreciated the friendly service. The waitstaff worked hard to accommodate us, and although the food took a little while to arrive, we were on vacation and in no rush. It gave us time to relax and enjoy the beautiful view of the waves crashing on the shore. The food was DELICIOUS: seafood pasta and meat / sea food platters were amazing!
The entrance to the hotel is a bit simple and could use some improvement, but once you turn the corner from the registration desk, the view makes it all worth it.
Children supervision required. We came as a couple and we could see how some areas may not be child proofed / safe. Beautiful place for a calm, quiet, romantic peaceful getaway.
Overall, we had a wonderful time and would definitely return!
For a few extra dollars your Can a better place . They should mention that the entrance from the main Road is in very bad condition . I liked the place 3 stars , the pool has a lot of space , the view is incredible ! And the staff is very nice !
When we arrived they didn't have a Queen bed, only a single twin bed. I told the front desk girl that the reservation was made for me and my wife and would definitely needed a bed for both. She had to call her supervisor until finally they offered us another room with a Queen and a Bump bed . Place was clean but need new towels. Towels were dark blue, old and looked like old rags and smell bad. We also asked for pool towels and they told us they didn't provide pool towels, to use the same towels we had in our room. Breakfast was ok. Room needs dark curtains, too much light in the room and noisy at night.
The price was low and the complex served a light breakfast in the morning. The pool is nice and the staff is polite to spanish speakers. The sheets were and shower heads were dirty. Nevertheless, it is a convenient 5 minute uber to El Tunco. Im glad I amended my plans an only stayed there for 2 days instead of three...(still got charged for 3).
Stayed at Reef on the Water for one night. Very pleasant, could walk to the main beach except during high tide.
Rooms were small, but the bed was comfortable, the AC was efficient and quiet. Only unexpected item, no hot water.
The food was good and reasonably priced and the included breakfast was ok
BEWARE! This place is more like a hostel than a hotel. The pictures are misleading. The service was poor no one was happy to be there, or seemed to want to service you at all. No hot water, very loud you hear everything everywhere. Music on blast at the bar/pool by 8am. breakfast was horrible. We stayed at several places. This was our last stop, which was unfortunate because everywhere else and El Salvador itself was amazing so much so we will be back next year. The Reef could be so much more if someone actual cared about it.
