On arrival, the staff were very friendly and helpful. We loved our room which was beautifully designed with some lovely historical touches! We had a gorgeous room with a fabulous view too right out to the bay. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you’re up for being transported back in time. We loved it !

Staying in a gorgeous renovated Parador is a real treat. The history is incredible and to see these old buildings restored as boutique hotels is a wonderful idea. Car park was quite tight to turn into behind the Parador. Gorgeous old hilltop town to explore. Plenty of bars and eateries. Our room looked over the river with France on the other side and the marina. We’ll return for sure!

A perfect place for a relaxing couple of days. We loved this parador and will definitely be back. In the centre of the historic town, with great restaurants and bars within just a few minutes walk. Easy walking distance to town. Couldn’t have loved it more

Fantastic experience!

We stayed one night when we visit San Sebastián. The view from the hotel was wonderful and the hotel itself was amazing! I would like to visit again.

Disappointing stay

Very disappointing stay as the hotel was well below the standard of the Paradores. The hotel has not restaurant, AC did not work at all. Many other little details that do not clasify it as a four stars hotels. Definitely it is not worth the price

The reception staff was not very forthcoming. There was a big celebration in town but they did not share information about it. We had to ask other people. They seemed to be stressed out and understaffed.
