Very nicely appointed newer hotel, geared to students, but as a solo traveler approaching 50 I didn’t feel out of pace. A good mix of ages, some families, and very cosmopolitan. A bit off the beaten path for most of the attractions in San Sebastián, but I was able to walk to the more touristy areas of the city in 25-35 minutes. There are some good restaurants nearby. Hotel restaurant and bar did fine. The rooftop pool is nice with a bar and good music, but space is limited. Lots of common areas, great for digital nomads and anybody that just needs a spot to get some work done. Room was a little sparse, but had all the basics. No complaints there. All in all a great experience and would recommend!

Clean, great gym, central enough without being in the center of the tourist area. The daily room cleaning was a bit iffy (they missed a day, the other days I’d find empty bottles that they didn’t clean), but other than that a solid spot in San Sebastián. I’d stay there again.

Could have been better

Unable to check in early. Unable to use the hotels pool and rooftop facilities whist the room was being prepared. The room we ended up with was the worst one in the hotel at the end of the hotel next to a small building site with works ongoing and a view of the work being carried out. The sound of SDS drills could be heard on the other side of the concrete wall. Breakfast is ok, nothing amazing. A small room for the size of the hotel so if you dont go at the right time you may have to que. Very intimate seating in certain areas of the room which for breakfast isnt the best in my opinion.

The hotel was beautiful and the room was spacious. My only complaint is the AC. It was 94 degrees outside and our AC did not work well. The room was really hot.

Nice place, great staff. I went to the airport without my passport. I called them on my way back and they promptly got it from the safe and had it waiting for me. Only minor issue was their pillows. Most places in this price have feather pillows.

The Social Hub is an excellent hotel. The rooms are very clean. The restaurant and the pool and the gym are fantastic. All the staff especially Ailsa were extremely helpful and knowledgeable and courteous.

Liked almost everything about the property/room comfortable beds & pillows, large bathroom and bottled water provided each day. The only issue we had was the coffee in the room, instant would work much better the steep coffee bag they provide makes very weak coffee. We at dinner at the restaurant 2 of 3 nights, hamburgers and salads were very good

The reception staff were not knowledgable nor very helpful. The restaurant and house keeping staff were excellent. We asked for a 1 hour late checkout and were told it would be €25 for the hour. That has never happened to me. The hotel seemed more geared up for corporate and business events than a holiday hotel. The pool is very narrow and although it’s long enough for laps, when there are couples standing in the middle of it….. it’s unusable for swimming. I didn’t get in it once!!!!!
