Staff was friendly, room was nice but having to walk across the lot around the hotel laundry room which was open with big carts full of towels in clear view for everyone to see, just to get to my room was not my favorite view.

The room was clean and beautiful, the staff was respectful, the breakfast was a good selection and parking was good. My only complaint was the noise of the kids above me stamping up with no respect about their surroundings. But overall was a nice hotel.

Great room, great staff and breakfast was a lot better than all the hotels we stayed on our 10 day road trip from aeattle to los angeles. One thing to improve is water pressure. Too greedy.

The amenities of this amazing Hampton Inn hotel at San Simeon were excellent in every way. The most important thing I can say about this hotel is the location. This goes out to all pet owners who truly care about your pets (dogs) especially when your dog gets really scare with the sounds of fireworks. We did not hear a single firework during our stay which was the main reason why we drove almost 5 hours from our residence. Perfect location for relaxation and great weather!!!

Room was nice. Bed was ok. Parking was easy. Breakfast was ok. Did not use the pool. The room next to ours kept slamming the door for about an hour at 11 pm. Other than that it was quiet enough.

The staff was very pleasant and helpful. It was easy to change to connecting rooms. The pantry was well stocked, breakfast was awesome. Only issue was with housekeeping - the fridges in both rooms hadn’t been emptied, showers were not thoroughly cleaned, and there were sticky spots on the floors. (I travel with cleaning wipes, but if I didn’t I would have called down for cleaning assistance.) I’d still stay there again because of the price point, proximity, and staff.

We enjoyed our stay and would choose this hotel again. The staff were always helpful and friendly. The location is close to most things and convenient. Breakfast was included which is a nice extra! And it was one of the few hotels in the Monterey area that had free parking. The only negative was that the walls were thin, but we were located on the backside away from the highway, which was great. We could hear people talking outside the room, in the hallways, or in the parking lot. But fortunately no one lingered and the noise was manageable. Thank you to all the staff members that helped make our stay great!

Be aware that there is NO elevator for two floor buildings. Stairs only. For the price, no elevator is a killer. If you travel with kids and have luggage.
