Amazing amenities (kitchen, games, sitting areas with fire pits and a hot tub!) plus the host is wonderful. This was our 2nd time staying here and we all wish to return to this well appointed home that is close to many beautiful places such as Fiscalini preserve, moonstone beach as well as the Cambria pines lodge across the way where we enjoyed taking in the holiday light display!

Lovely home that's perfect for dogs with a huge fenced in yard. House was adorable and updated with a secluded jacuzzi & sitting area right off the Master Bedroom. Property owner was attentive & responded quickly to questions. It's a very short walk to the Fireside Lounge for drinks, food, & live music with your pups. Also just a short drive to shopping & the beach. We had a great time staying here & would book again.

Loved it.....only recommendation is to add instructions about turning the lock knob after entering code for those unfamiliar.....the instructions were in the book but good to include in email. Also the roll away bed could use a new mattress.

We had a lovely and relaxing stay at the Wine Down Cottage. The property is beautiful and in a great central location. The house was very clean and had everything for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is stocked with all amenities needed should you choose to cook. Cambria had a few warm days so the A/C was so nice. And the Jacuzzi in the private back yard was great when it cooled down in the evening. The Cambria Pines Lodge is a few steps away across the street so we enjoyed a couple of happy hours and dinner one evening. They also do a Pizza Night on Friday evenings with live music. Diane was a great hostess and her communication was top notch! We will definitely be back to stay here in the future! Thank you!

This is a lovely, updated cottage conveniently located just minutes from downtown Cambria and the ocean. It has a large, well-equipped kitchen and sits on a beautiful, double-sized lot with plenty of outdoor seating. The host, Diane, was friendly and attentive. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

The host was super attentive and helpful. The house was cozy, comfortable and had everything a family of 4 needed to enjoy our stay. The cute little town with shops and restaurants was super close and we enjoyed everything Cambria had to offer including the gem of a find in the Covell Clydesdale ranch hidden just above town. Being a mom and used to all my gadgets and tools at home, I was very impressed with how thoughtful the host was with all that was available in the kitchen. Everything was also in good working order. Loved the beautiful touches of decor that made the house feel like a home. We absolutely loved the hot tub and fire pits too. It was great to have a relaxing soak after a long day of exploring, and safely enjoy the stars out at night. We will definitely come back to visit again!

A perfect house for a getaway

Lovely house

We enjoyed our stay at this property as the house was very clean and very well stocked. I want to emphasize that it is stocked above and beyond! We found the location to be quite convenient: close to shops, restaurants, freeway, etc. yet it is a quiet neighborhood. You can walk to town by going down the hill with 200 steep steps. Great exercise, especially going up!The only negative for us was the queen mattress and the pillows in the master bedroom. They are very firm! And the mattress seems to slop to the edges. We did not have a good night sleep as a result. However, the guest in the other bedroom was happy with their bed. The yard is convenient arranged although our dog was confused about the lack of grass but it is on her, not the host lol The perimeter was very well secured to prevent any possibility of escaping. We really appreciate this detail. Thank you for hosting our family!

A great house in Cambria!

We loved our stay at the Wine Down Cottage in Cambria!Great house with a nice big yard for the kids to play in. A hot tub for evening relaxation. A very short drive, or longer walk down the hill into town, and a very lovely home perfect for our family of four. The hosts were also very helpful leading up to and during our stay, very responsive to any questions we had. We look forward to going back!

One of our favorites..

We loved our stay at Wine Down Cottage. The online pictures do not do justice to the brightness of this home as you walk through the door, windows everywhere. It was obvious that a lot of thought was put into making guests feel relaxed and comfortable. Everything was immaculate and there were so many nice touches, i.e. a Keurig with assorted pods, spices, dinnerware, small appliances, comfortable beds, you name it. Large fenced in yard was perfect for our boxer dog and we spent quite a bit of time in the hot tub. Diane was very communicative and timely with her responses. We'll tell our friends about this one!

Great Stay

We had a great stay at this lovely home in Cambria! The location was perfect—centrally located and close to everything. The house itself was clean, well-stocked, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We especially loved the spacious backyard and the private side yard with the jacuzzi—such a relaxing touch.The only downside was that the outdoor furniture was quite dirty, and some was ripped which made it less enjoyable to sit outside and take in the beautiful surroundings. A quick refresh of the outdoor seating would make this place just about perfect!Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

This property is beautifully maintained both inside and out and stocked with all the amenities a guest could want or need. Located in a quiet neighborhood just a few minutes'drive from the Fiscalini preserve and downtown Cambria. The backyard is huge and though we did not use the wood burning firepit, it was all set up with firewood and kindling just ready for a match. The home is attractively decorated in a cute cottage decor, spotlessly clean and has a fully stocked kitchen including coffee and creamer. The bed and pillows in the primary suite were very comfortable. There was just two of us this trip but the home could comfortably house a larger group. Diane is a responsive host who easily accommodated my special request regarding allergies. I highly recommend Wine Down Cottage for a great stay in Cambria!

No Kids or Grandkids for Christmas!
