This was the perfect cabin for our ski vacation. The hot tub was a delight to relax in after a day of skiing, and it was also fun to split some firewood to use in the real wood fireplace.
Great location just outside of town, easy drive to Schweitzer. Kitchen was fully equipped. Hot tub was nice after ski days. Wood burning stove in the living room with wood provided. Peaceful stream in the backyard plus eagle nest to watch. Would stay again!
We had a great time in Sandpoint. We visited family and had the grand boys stay with us in the “cabin”. We all loved traipsing through the woods a bit and going in the hot tub!!We drive up to Schweitzer Mtn 2 days. A very close and easy drive. The place was very comfortable and had a homey feeling. Oh, Grampie and the boys really liked the wood store/fireplace and learning to make fires for us.
Very unique and charming rental, right on the creek with a nice fire pit and outdoor areas. You can see the creek from the hot tub! It is probably great for cooking off in the summer, but it was frigid at the end of March with all the snow melt. Bedrooms were good, lots of small things like fans available, Keurig, etc. Tons of cool ski memorabilia and local books too!!
We loved this place! Great spot, we saw lots of wildlife. It was a short drive away from Schweitzer and Silverwood and away from the busy resort areas. The hot tub was a great bonus that our kids loved and said they never wanted to leave. It was also the cleanest place I think I’ve ever stayed in, including most hotels. Most the large appliances seemed to be brand new as well as blankets, sheets and even mattresses.
It was perfect and we will definitely be back!
Thank you to our host/hosts!
Nice little place to stay. They do rent to people with dogs and you can see where past animals have chewed the door frames and scratched at the door but it doesn't smell like dogs. Other than one loveseat looking a little stained the house is very clean. The creek is very relaxing to sit at and unwind.
