De There are many activities available on-site:
Swimming, water sports, and walks through the Landes Forest—on foot, on horseback, by mountain bike, or by bicycle, depending on your preference—nature awaits you here. There’s even a museum for the more curious….
If you’re driving: I recommend a trip down the Leyre River by canoe, kayak, or stand-up paddleboard, as well as a visit to Biscarrosse and its beaches (the ocean, its waves, and especially surfing) or climb to the top of the Dune du Pyla and explore the Arcachon Basin with its colourful ports—not to mention the huts where you can enjoy oysters with a glass of Bordeaux wine. Bordeaux, a World Heritage Site, is a must-see, as are its various châteaux. Or, for the more adventurous, why not take a two-hour trip to Spain to enjoy some tapas? I hope you have a wonderful vacation. See you soon. Isabelle
