Biobauernhof-many animals-single-position panoramic viewOur organic farm is located at 900 m above sea level in a beautiful secluded location on the edge of the forest - far from noise and traffic with panoramic views of the Schneeberg and the Bucklige Welt! For generations, we, the Kronaus family, have run a fully managed organic farm. We produce agricultural products such as milk, eggs, apple juice and bread on the farm. Many animals, including endangered domestic breeds, enjoy a nice life with us. In addition to around 20 Murbodner and Tyrol gray-headed cattle, forest sheep, Tauern checkered goats, rabbits, guinea pigs, turkeys, quail, cats, ducks, pearl and silk hens, Haflinger Rubina and Pony Emily and about 30 happy chickens frolic on the farm grounds. Our farm is especially for our little guests an experience: The children can watch the KĂŒhemelken, feed and caress animals, get their own breakfast egg from the chicken coop or ride on our horse Ruby on a leash a round in the yard. The new summer toboggan run and the ant adventure trail can be reached on foot from the farm.
Excellent. Austrian hunter's lodge. Good size rooms, wooden throughout. Pleasant host. Easy reach from Vienna (1hr 15min drive). Google maps finds it very easily. 30 mins from Semmering ski resort, (better for more experienced skiers) and 35 mins Stuleck ski resort (better for beginners). The description on the homeway website fails to mention the washing machine, but there is one, which is great after a long day's skiing! Nearest supermarket is 5km away, but it is on the way back from the ski resorts (just watch out for the weekend opening hours in Austria as they are quite restricted). The kids said it was best skiing lodge we have stayed in, we parents agreed. Thank you Erika.
