With 8 bedrooms and 300 square meters of living space, this villa can comfortably accommodate 24 guests. You can enjoy the views of the lush green forests of Vilamajor while relaxing on the sun loungers by your private pool, enjoying the tranquility.
On the first floor you will find a bright and spacious kitchen fully equipped with fridge, freezer, microwave, oven / hob, toaster, kettle and dishwasher where you and your family can enjoy cooking authentic meals or have one of our experienced chefs tantalize your taste buds with traditional Spanish cuisine. The ground floor also has two bedrooms.
The 8 rooms have the following beds.
First floor:
(1) 3 single beds, (2) a double bed, a single bed, (3) four single beds, (4) one double, (5) a double bed, one single bed, (6) 3 single beds.
Ground floor:
(7) 3 single beds (8) a double bed, a single bed. One additional bed can be added on request for a total of 24 guests.
Sizes of the beds are 100x200 cm for single bed and 130x200 cm for double bed.
In the underground floor there is a games room with a pool table, a bathroom and a laundry room with washing machine and dryer.

Our group of 17 - four families - had a fabulous week in Can Panxa.
Our group of 17 - four families - had a fabulous week in Can Panxa. Loads of space, very clean and a lovely pool. Very close to the train station so we went into Barcelona, a lovely restaurant in the town complete with a whistling waiter and very close to Water World which the kids and adults all enjoyed. It's location out of town was great as it was so quiet and we didn't need to worry about distrurbing anyone.
A big thank you to everyone in the office - Leslie, Dawn and Maria - who came back to any enquiries we had very quickly and were very helpful to allow us to move the time of the check out by an hour.
I appreciate you are managing this property and it may not have been visited by your team. It is very dated which we didn't mind but there are some areas that could be improved at very little cost:
1. There are three coffee machines which all got used but there is no kettle - we boiled water in a saucepan.
2. The towels are very old and need to be replaced.
As they are supplied at an additional cost they should be much better quality.
3. Other than some small tumblers, all the 'glasses' are plastic. There were no glass winebeer glasses which is much nicer to drink from.
4. It was very hot when we were there but the aircon was not very effective and could do with upgrading. Again this was an additional charge. The fans in all the bedrooms were very good though and were all obviously pretty new.
5. The oven could also do with updating - the gas hobs were not controllable so they were onoff. The oven was a bit hit and miss. The BBQ was great though and we used that a few times.
6. The chairs around the tables on the balcony were very uncomfortable - I think they were made of plywood but certainly very cheap. I can send a photo.
7. The loungers around the pool are fixed so you can only lie down on them. Reclining ones would be much more user friendly.
8. There should be more umbrellasshade around the pool. There are only four relatively small umbrellas which is not enough for 17 people - and the house can accommodate more than that.
Please take this as constructive feedback, we had a great week. We're a group of friends and their families who have been going on holiday for over 20 years so we all muck in and get on with it. It's always a bit chaotic but a lot of fun!

An great property for a group of friends and family
We had a great week with four families. The property is spacious and was very clean and is quite remote - which we liked - in a very quiet location in the hills behind a small village. Great pool with plenty of loungers, table tennis table, billiards, table, 3 mini golf holes and a tennis style court.
The house is pretty dated but the beds were very comfortable and they have invested in fans for all the bedrooms which were very much appreciated! It could do with some new towels and glasses and some other kitchen bits and pieces but well equipped.
It is a 5 mins drive to the nearest supermarket and a 30 mins walk into the village where there is a lovely bar and restaurant. The train station is a 10 mins drive away where you can get a train into Barcelona in about 45 mins. A big water park - Water World - is 50 mins drive away which we all enjoyed!

Ideal for family vacation
We had a wonderful week in the house. Four generations together ages 0 to 83 years old.
The house is spacious and well functioning and the activities are great (tennis, table tennis, pool etc). The house is a bit old and worn and the kitchen not that well equipped. But we managed to cook all our meals there for 23 people.

Our stay at Can Panxa
The house and surrounding looked great but to be fair, it wasn't fit for purpose. The main problem is it is listed as an air-conditioned property while in reality the air conditioner is only downstairs in the living room and it wasn't working properly. We stayed in July and the heat in the bedrooms was unbearable. There are no ceiling fans (or any kind of fans) which you expect to find in the bedrooms. In the kitchen, the cooking range was good once we figured out how to use it. A set of instructions, in English, would go a long way. Some of the appliances have seen better days and should be replaced, such as the leaking kettle (health and safety) and the leaking fridge-freezer. We were charged separately for bed linen and towel, a princely sum of 200 euros, and what we got was a pile of old and very used towels that we could have bought for 20 euros in a charity shop. The property, in general, needs modernization if you are gonna charge these prices. On a lighter note, the location is great, views are wonderful and we enjoyed using the pool, the table tennis and racket ball court.

Comfort in spectacular setting
The descriptions and pictures on the website give a faithful representation of the accommodation. The booking process was easy and efficient and we were provided with excellent explanations before and on arrival, as well as given a warm welcome and oranges from the garden.

Picturesque. Romantic. Intriguing.
Beautiful Villa radiates glamour like a Hollywood movie. The moment the brass key turned, swinging open the elegantly paneled door, we knew this grand home would stay in our mind’s eye forever. Inside can only be described as treasure-trove of memories that we became part of – in a fondly familiar sort of way. Outside, the setting was unbelievable. Beautiful and mesmerizing views of lush green forests of villamajor.
And for the owners, they were gracious and helpful, as we planned our trip, to our arrival and departure. You can look at the photos and read the descriptions of all the fabulous amenities, but you must visit, for this Beautiful Villa truly has heart and soul.

Amazing family holiday
We had a great 10 day holiday, the weather was sunny every day, the children loved the swimming pool. The villa was really clean, and had everything we needed. It was great that towels were supplied for both the pool area and the bathrooms. There were 18 in our party, and the villa was spacious, we were joined by other family members as well for a few nights. We hired cars so travelled to other places as well but we all enjoyed ourselves and would definitely recommend to others, a really enjoyable holiday.

PLEASANT STAY!!!
This was a welcome break at Villamajor in the quiet month of September. The villa is in a great spot - very close to town and beaches are only few minutes away by car. Weather was perfect in the mid to late 20s so we could relax by or in the infinity pool and expand our horizons.
We rented bicycles and explored the locale on two wheels. Off season the beaches were less busy but the restaurants and shops are open and lively - and with the warm weather it was easy to chill for hours with occasional dips to cool down.
Evenings spent on the balcony eating and drinking while watching the sun go down were memorable. Simple pleasures.

Superb Place!
I would give a 5 star for the space it provided to us. It can accommodate a large group easily. We were a group of 20 members and we found it quite amazing as everything they provided was upto the mark... everyone got the essentials and a special thanks to the host!
