Very nice but expensive for what you get

This is a very well located Hotel in Santa Marta, walking distance from the beach, restaurants, bars, etc. The hotel is small and staff is great, very friendly, and collaborative. My room was very clean but really basic in terms of room amenities, especially in the bathroom. Breakfast is included but from a menu, any extra items must be paid separately. I think it is a good place, but a bit too high of cost for what you get.

Decent Hotel, Great Location - but overpriced.

For the price they charge (I paid about 120AUD) you can get much better hotels in Colombia for that price in my experience. The location was perfect, close to the beach and restaurants; literally around the corner. A bit run down, but they were in the middle of fixing a few things on my second visit. The only other problem was noise. I stayed there two nights. One Saturday and one Thursday. Saturday night was a waste as I couldn’t sleep until 3am due to a very close nightclub. I’d suggest throwing some earplugs in the room for guests. The bass didn’t penetrate and vibrate the room so ear plugs would solve that. Staff were good. One spoke good English.

Great Place!

The place is great! it is a very small Hotel, but well kept, clean and the staff is great. The only "issue" is that, since it's small, you can listen when they prepare the breakfast (not a big deal). Overall we had a great time and the location is perfect, it's just a block away from Parque de los Novios, which is a great park, full of bars and restaurants.

Beautiful oasis!

Simply amazing! The best B&B we’ve ever stayed at. The ranch is just beautiful and so peaceful! Hector and his family have put their hearts and souls into this place and it shows! The breakfasts are simple but so delicious and home made. Hector is beyond helpful and nothing is impossible for him. He will go out of his way if there is anything he can do to make things easier for you. He doesn’t hesitate to give a ride into town or the cocora valley if he’s home. His BBQ’s are legendary and the best food we had in Colombia. Love this place!

Pleasant Room

We were comfortable in our bed and the pleasant room's air conditioning made the temperature much cooler than outside. The shower was excellent though I had a little trouble opening the door, until I lifted it up. We were a little worried when we first saw the neighborhood, but the hotel is very close to Parque de Los Novios which attracts a lot of people and has good restaurants, so we felt safe and entertained on a Saturday night. We loved the restaurant Ouzo. Have your taxi fare in hand when you arrive because there is no place for the taxi to pull over on the narrow street without stopping traffic.

I stayed at this hotel at the beginning of May 2017. I was blown away with what I received, as my expectations were very low. Perfect location, friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms and bathrooms, delicious breakfast. I would 100% recommend this hotel for fellow travellers.

Central hotel with great designer rooms

We only got to stay a short night, but enjoyed this hotel a lot. We got the room with the huge double shower and the balcony -- we loved it!! We slept really well and loved how helpful the staff was to make us an early breakfast before we headed the airport. Would stay here again for sure!!

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The room were clean and quiet, the atmosphere pleasant. I stayed 1 night at this hotel.
