There was a huge gap under and around the door. The bathroom was like a car wash, water sprayed everywhere. The heater couldn’t regulate the temperature of the room, likely from the door gap and the fact that it was in the 30’s at night. We were awake all night adjusting the temperature, which was stressful leading up to a heart procedure the next morning. Then I found a bed bug on the white linens. Took photos and a video and the staff still brushed it off as no big deal.
We were booked for two days but I wanted to leave. They offered another room, but there was NO WAY I could sleep anywhere in that motel knowing they had bed bugs! They claimed their exterminator came (on a Sunday) and found no evidence. They refused to credit the unused night, because I prepaid with Expedia. It was a lame excuse of “policy” instead of doing the right thing. Why on earth would I want to stay there a second night?? GROSS. Don’t stay here unless you want to take some bugs home with you, be called a liar, and over pay for your room.
Oh and the front desk, when writing the manager email down for me, gave me another customer’s private information. I saw the same room style was half the price I paid which is infuriating, but the carelessness of using a customer folio as scratch paper is downright despicable. Hello, have you heard of a shredder???
