This was a simple hotel within a walking distance (about 15 minutes) to the center of Fira. The owner was great and showed a lot of hospitality. He provided us with maps and transportation schedule. The room was not updated but was normal size. The bathroom was large. The only downside was breakfast which was very plain (boiled eggs, toast, yougurt).

King Thiras Hotel is located just past the main shopping strip of Fira and about a 15 minute walk from the bus station. It's very close to everything but tucked away in a quiet corner. The rooms are modest but more than enough if you're out and about all day. The owners are very helpful! I received a lot of great tips.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour, hôtel très propre, climatisé, accueil parfait, le gérant est aux petits soins, très disponible et parle plusieurs langues. Léger bémol : un peu loin de la gare routière pour faire le trajet à pied avec une grosse valise. Sinon, aucun souci.
